Part 1:  Ray talks about his music choice and then gives a outline of today’s show. He talks about the Jay Paper Mill explosion and he experience there. Then talks about civil unrest. He talks about how this unrest is waking up a lot of people that normally don’t say or do…are. Ray stresses that people are not designed to be in cages and cooped up. He says then you add the media frenzy and not stating truth, but spreading fear and untruths and it isn’t going to get any better. Ray asks who can you trust? Between cover ups, skewing information, straight out lie and the media from everyone we are suppose to trust including the politicians, the Worldwide Health Organization (WHO), China and the media. He also talks about NATO and they the United States’s funding and the unfair proportion that we pay over other countries.


Part 2:  Ray is joined by Bob Witkowski by phone and they talk about the effects that the stay in place is having on people and Bob stresses that we just need to stay calm. They talk about sports and playing with out people in the stands.

Part 3:  Ray and Pat Callaghan of News Center Maine briefly discuss the explosion at the Jay Mill and how bless and lucky that there weren’t any major casualties or injuries. Pat wanted to take some time to really give a big thank you to all that contributed to the United Way Telethon that they held last Thursday. He names CMP and Poland Spring Water that gave huge donations and the average personal donation was around $100. They talk about the people being laid off and how generous Maine companies and people are during these tough times. The boys also talk about the restlessness that is starting to begin and other states civil unrest. People are starting to worry about homes and get really lonely and now that Spring is here people want to get out. They talk about the timing of Maine getting back to Maine and back to work. Ray brings up China’s role and how they seemed to stay relatively safe as a country. They talk about who is classified as front-line workers and need more protective equipment. Pat stresses that we will be ready for the next problem and supply chain.

Part 4:  Ray and Pat continues with their discussion. Pat tells the story of when Jesse Jackson came to visit the Mill in Jay Maine and why the WCSH family calls the mill by the town and the alligators of the media.

Part 5:  Ray welcomes longtime friend and former Maine State Representative and Maine State Senator Tom Saviello. Tom in his real jobs before he retired, he primarily worked in the field of forestry and worked as an Environmental Manager at the Jay mill that had an explosion yesterday. Tom explains how the equipment works and what could have happened. Ray and Tom both acknowledge that it was a gift from God that no one was seriously hurt or killed. Tom gives a great history of the mill and the turnaround of it. Tom hopes that they will be able to rebound and rebuild. Ray and Tom discuss how it was designed to explode up if there was a problem. If not this would have had a much different outcome.

Part 6:  Ray says that he will be opening up the phone lines and addressing questions and comments from the Dirigo Partners Text Line.

Part 7:  Ray talks about the role of Worldwide Health Organization (WHO) and NATO. He talks about the questions for China and why are they off limits according to WHO. He takes a call about the justification of keeping Maine in quarantine. He takes a call from Mike about the media and the propaganda for Red China. He believes that it is almost treasonous.

Part 8:  Ray reads a text about blaming the Democrats for not passing the funding Payroll Protection Plan (PPP). Ray goes into great detail about what this program is designed to do and some of what the Democrats are trying to slide into the bill and are holding their vote until the Republicans give in to their demands.

Part 9:  Ray says that there will be a huge unemployment number coming out. These numbers are to be expected, but the media is going to play it up. He reads a story regarding the numbers and not once in the story do they mention that the government has shutdown most of the businesses and asked everyone to stay home. Ray talks about how the country and Maine’s economy was booming. Whenever there is anything, the media is rooting against America. Ray takes a call and Gordon asks him what will happen when and if Maine runs out of money. Ray gives a great detailed explanation of each step that will happen. He talks about the confusion with all of the programs out there to help businesses and employees. He reminds people that CNN had to pull a story because they had sided with the Communist Red Chinese over America and Americans. He takes another call and Arthur stresses that Trump is just trying to get Americans to remember what made America great.

Part 10:  Ray reminds people to not be surprised or stress about the unemployment numbers. You can’t have governors all over the country closing businesses and not expect them to be able to keep their employees. Ray takes a call from Andy of Sanford.

Part 1:  Ray Richardson starts off with Maine Governor Janet Mills extending her executive powers. He works his way all the way to the media and their love for the hysteria.


Part 2:  Ray takes a couple of calls.

Part 3:  Ray plays a clip of Roy Clark mastering the guitar. He and David Jones talk about the talent and wouldn’t it be nice to have that ability for just a little bit to be able to experience that feeling.

Part 4:  Ray opens the segment with Orange Blossom Special. He and David welcome Alex Stone of Blazes Burgers in Westbrook. They congratulate him on his 2nd anniversary in business. Alex explains some of the things that he has done to adapt. Blazes Burgers are taking phone orders and they are offering curbside service and delivery in Westbrook only. Alex gives some of the numbers that he has done in his 2 years of business. They talk about the expectations of a small business when he started and what are they now. He talks about the plans for the former conjoined space for a small bar. Part 5:  Ray and David talk about the PPP (Payroll Payment Protection) and the unemployment payments. There is an overlap and the programs are working against each other. The unemployed payout is paying someone unemployed more that they were making in some jobs. David says that we need to get back to work.

Part 6:  David puts his FO Bailey Real Estate hat on for this segment. They talk about the precautions that they are taking as a company. David has someone looking for a warehouse immediately. The boys talk about the benefits of living outside the metropolitan areas and taking advantage of Facetime, Zoom and other platforms to show homes and commercial buildings. The boys talk about business in general, the nature of humans and the need to work and socialize. The mental aspects that the mandatory stay in place order is having on people and the mixed messages that the media keeps sending.

Part 7:  Ray and David have some technical difficulties trying to connect with a guest. The boys talk about the election from 2016 and how the Democrats have yet to get over the fact that they lost. They haven’t accepted Donald J. Trump as their President, but you didn’t see this type of hatred toward a President when there was a Democrat in office. Ray talks about the fact that President Obama just announced that he endorses Biden, mind you after Bernie Sanders and everyone else that has run against him. They talk about loyalty or more importantly the lack of it. The American way of life will be gone if the Dems get into office. Ray brings up the Worldwide Health Organization (WHO). This really get them going. They take a call. He says that they started back in the 40’s when they started with the automobiles. He says that we need to buy local and help mom and pop shops. They talk about the cost of doing business in America and that it costs so much to manufacture in America because of all of the regulations.

Part 8:  Ray welcomes Lori Parham of AARP Maine. They talk about the need for good information. There are a lot of different outlets and they all have a little bit different information. Lori describes some of the things that AARP Maine have been doing to try and calm some of those fears, including their virtual town hall meetings and some of the guests that they have had, including Sen. Susan Collins. They talk about the need for patience because we are working with a system that wasn’t designed to handle the volume of requests that it is getting. Ray gives the AARP Maine a huge compliment. He doesn’t agree with the National AARP, but the work that the Maine chapter is doing to inform people, not tell them what to this or how to vote. They advocate for information.

Part 9:  Ray plays a tribute to Jackie Robinson. Larry calls in to talk about Sarah Gideon and her falsehoods that she has in her commercials. They also talk about the work that Sen. Susan Collins has been doing to help Mainers and America through this crisis.

Part 1:  Ray Richardson plays the song “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. He talks about Easter and how different it was for all Christians. Most churches abided the physical distancing, however there are a few out there that believe that they are immune to the governmental mandates.


Part 2:  Ray takes a call about Mother’s Day and that he hopes that the country can relax on some of the physical distancing so that we can get close to the ones we love.

Part 3:  Ray talks about the PPP (Payroll Protection Program) program and how fast that they have been able to get this into the hands of small businesses through out America. The naysayers are rampant, but he says that he knows companies that have received their money.

Part 4:  Ray welcomes Ralph Reed. He is founder and chairman of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. They talk about his new book,  “For God and Country: The Christian Case for Trump“, the role of faith during this pandemic. They talk about a wide variety of topics including the Supreme Court, Roe v Wade, the American Embassy in Israel, President Trump, his election, his promises and what would happen if Joe Biden is elected.

Part 5:  Ray takes a couple of calls. Ray talks about the stress of owning a business and worrying about families of the employees that work for them. He stresses that we will recover. He continues with if you think that AOC and her crowd want businesses to succeed, then you aren’t paying attention.

Part 6:  The relief that employees are getting from the government and how it works and what you should receive. He stresses that there is a lot of help going on and he wishes that the negative nellies of naybombs of negativity would just stop spreading lies.

Part 7:  Ray welcomes Liz Harrington from the Republican National Party. They discuss the 2020 Republican Convention in Charlotte. They also chat about the need to get out and go somewhere. They talk about how Americans are restless and how we are go and doers, not stay at home and be idle. Ray brings up a docu-drama about George Washington, The First American (2016) that brought this up to the forefront of his mind. They talk about the mental health and how this is effecting everyone. The family is so important. Family gatherings, weddings, and even funerals are not happening which all of these things are a normal part of life. Ray says that we all need to be cheer leading through this crisis and after it is all gone, that is when we need to figure out what we did right and what did we did wrong. Ray blames the media for spreading hysteria. Ray stresses everyone to call their elected person and demand that they pass a clean PPP bill.

Part 8:  Ray gets sappy….Today is Dee Dee and Ray’s 35th wedding anniversary. He shares their relationship path.

Part 1:  Ray talks about the Easter season and how different it is this year with the physical distancing issue. Ray talks about a Press Herald editorial about the President saying that he wants to get it back open. He explains that the President can only offer encouragement. It is up to the Governors of the individual states to make a decision on whether or not to continue the Stay in Place order. Ray talks about the unemployment numbers and the panic that has ensued, Ray can’t understand why. Pres. Trump has worked so hard to help with this crisis. He also explains why people haven’t gotten their promised money yet. He continues to  explain the PPP (Payroll Protection Program) and how it was designed to be distributed.


Part 2:  Ray takes a call about Easter. Today is Good Friday. They discuss free will and bad things that happen to good people. Larry calls in about having more people working (training the legislature) to help out in the unemployment office.

Part 3:  Ray takes a call from a previous caller to continue his point about Easter. Ray restates his belief and who he keeps in his prayers. Dr. John Herzog joins him.

Part 4:  The boys talk about Dr. John’s process and how it works. He uses an ultrasound machine to locate and diagnose the problem, not cut you open even though he is an Orthopedic surgeon. He uses your own platelets when he makes and injects this magical compound that will allow your own body to heal itself. This is a non-invasive. Part 6:  Ray talks about Good Friday and how it was the Government that crucified Jesus. He was an innocent man and the Government knew that. They chose to put him to a horrific death because they were afraid of his words. Ray gets into details about the deal that the government is offering with the Small Business Loan to Grant program. Dr. Herzog brings up the hard work that Sen. Susan Collins did to get this program up and running. He reminds people that she was one of the architects and pushed this through. They talk about the Democrats and the junk that they wanted to put and succeeded putting into the stimulus bill. Ray also says that un-employment is not a welfare check. He also talks about the small business loan to grant program. He says that banks need to stand up and help out their fellow man. We helped them when they were in trouble, not it is their time to help their fellow man and do what is right.

Part 7:  Ray talks about how business did the American thing by closing their businesses temporarily to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus and how President Trump has pledged to work to get them the help to keep their businesses. The small businesses, independent business owners, people who file a 10-99 can apply today for their loans. This is the Government’s way of saying thank you for doing your part. They continue to discuss the great things that Trump has been fighting for to keep the economy growing as it has been for the last 3 years.

Part 8:  Ray and Dr. Herzog welcome Shawn Moody. They talk about the “little” people that are the backbone of the country. They talk about how we as a country view people. We as a society hold people up by the stations of their life. However, the most important people are the people that work with their hands. They take a call and he tells a story about a conversation with a dishwasher. They talk about Jesus and that he was a carpenter and he could have been anything, but he came to walk among us, not rule over us.
