Part 1:  Ray suggests that we need to help the small businesses out there. If you are not going out but usually do, continue to support them buy buying a gift certificate. He also mentions that the businesses that do sell gift cards/certificates that they put it on their front page really big. If you can’t take online payments, Ray offers to help you set it up so that you can. He talks about the steps that the President had taken before the Coronavirus came to America. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and all of the Never Trumpers have been so negative toward everything he has done even though he has been preemptive in his steps to protect America.


Part 2:  Ray and David take a call from Congressional Candidate Dale Crafts. They discuss the difficulty in campaigning in the time of “social distancing”. Ray quotes the reigning expert in infectious disease, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. Ray asks him if he was currently serving what would his plan be to head off some of the economic fears and ripple effect of businesses temporarily closing.

Part 3:  Ray talks about Dave Ramsey. Ray and David gives kudos to his son and Daughter-in-law, Conner and Bailey, by following Dave and paying off all of their debt except their mortgage. They take a call regarding paying businesses.

Part 4:  Ray and David Jones talk Real Estate with FO Bailey Real Estate. Ray talks about the the interest rates and the mortgages rates after speaking with Kate the Great of Northstar Mortgage and they all feel that they will be going down. David introduces their guest, Rob Baldacci who has recently joined FO Bailey. They briefly talk about his brother, Former Gov. John Baldacci and his family’s restaurant. Ray asks what enticed him to join FO Bailey after being so successful already.

Part 6:  Ray and David talk about having time to do the projects that you haven’t had time to do. The boys talk to Citizens United President David Bossie. They talk about Coronavirus and how it is effecting him and his family. They talk about the first responders and how they have been on the front lines. They talk about Dr. Fauci and President Trump’s response. The press and opponents of President Trump has been called all kinds of names because he took proactive steps to prevent the spread.

Part 7:  Ray and David talk to Lori Parham of AARP Maine. They discuss the impact that the Coronavirus and threat of spreading. They have suspended all of their events. There is information and helpful hints on their website about the Coronavirus.

Part 1:  Ray had some technical difficulty and plays a lot of music. Ray talks about the Coronavirus and how it is affecting the stock market. He talks about the panic and how the country needs to calm down and everything will be okay. Panic in not the way to handle this situation. He tells us a high school story to prove that it is not a time to panic.


Part 2:  Ray plays Celtic music and David Jones joins him. They talk about the primaries that are and aren’t happening around the country. He talks about the steps that Portland and other cities are taking to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Part 3:  Ray and David Jones talk to Jason Shinn of Edward Jones Financial. They talk about the uncertainty of the economy. Ray brings up the Feds reducing the interest rates. They discuss how the economy can rebound. The boys talk about the hysteria and things that they are seeing at the grocery store. All three agree that now is the time to not panic, but to have a cool head when making important decisions. Part 5:  Ray and David talk to Dr. Michael Ciampi of Ciampi Family Practice. They start off with the common practices of taking care of yourself. David asks “for a friend” when is it a good time to be tested. Doc says that the best measure of when to be tested is if you have symptoms. He also stresses that if you are having any symptom you should stay home and out of the public, even if it is just a cold or flu. Nobody wants that either. They switch gears to the Maine Bill that Dr. Ciampi is fighting in Augusta. Maine LD 2117 – An Act To Expand and Rename the Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring Program is an over-reaching and breach of privacy bill.

Part 6:  Ray and David talk about the Dropkick Murphys and that this is their Holiday. They will be having an online concert tonight to celebrate St. Patty’s Day. Ray brings up with frustration the comments of Rep. James Clyburn, (D-SC) the top-ranking African American in Congress in an interview where he was comparing the parallels between America today and Nazi Germany and calling Pres. Trump a racist. Ray and David take a call from Derek Gause. He is the newest member of the Political Roundtable heard on Ray’s Show on Tuesday. He has self-quarantined because of a cold and is being proactive. He has been doing some of online videos to entertain himself.

Part 1:  Ray talks about the panic over the Coronavirus. Ray talks about the panic of people over common sense. The fights and hording in the grocery stores.


Part 2:  Ray continues with the hoarders and people taking more than they actually need without any regard for their fellow man that might be in need. This is a time when we need to work together and take care of our neighbors. We need to rely on GOD, not GOV.

Part 3:  Ray talks about humanity. He offers to get groceries, food, or anything else someone needs help with, just text him on the Dirigo Partners Text Line, and he will contact you.

Part 4:  Ray welcome HR PowerHour host Dave Ciullo and Peter Lowe, partner in Brann & Isaacson, in studio to discuss the Coronavirus and how businesses need to handle employment issues. Peter advises senior executives, superintendents, town managers and board members on governance, investigations, fiduciary duties, freedom of access, risk management, and personnel matters.  He negotiates employment contracts, non-competition agreements and severance agreements.  Peter has advised many organizations on strategies to reorganize their workforces.  He has also defended successfully scores of claims of discrimination, harassment and wrongful discharge.

Part 5:  Ray, Dave and Peter continue the discussion about what not to do….panic. Common sense and compassion are the ways we get through this.

Part 6:  Ray welcomes Emily Spencer, former WLOB Intern, currently representing Waban as Director of Communications and Development and Executive Director, Neal Meltzer. They briefly discuss Coronavirus and how they are coping with this pandemic. Neal goes into detail about their program and the benefits to the community. Ray asks about the lifespan of people with disabilities. Neal addresses that question.

Part 7:  Ray, Emily and Neal continue with the discussion about Waban and the positive effects that it has in the community and development of mentally and/or physically challenged people.

Part 8:  Ray welcomes Trump 2020 Deputy Communications Director, Erin Perrine. They discuss last night’s Presidential Democratic Debate between Sen. Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders. All they talked about was what Trump was doing wrong with this pandemic and what they would be doing.

Part 9:  Ray just reiterates that this is not the time to panic. It is a time to look and make sure your neighbor is doing okay. He also gives Kudos to Governor Mills on her response to this pandemic and the steps that she has take to keep our state safe.

Part 10:  Ray takes a call about the remote learning that our schools will be having to do. Ray tells a story about his Freshman year at University of Florida. They talk about schools taking a long look at how they teach now and after the quarantine. Ray tells a story of a kid that had reached out to him several years ago out of Madawaska Maine.

Part 11:  Ray talk about the Federal Reserve making another emergency cut to interest rates on Sunday, which is unusual. It cut the federal funds rate by 1.00 percent to a range of 0-0.25 percent. Ray finishes up with this is not the time to panic. Be an example to your kids.

Part 1:  Ray is really upset with the behavior of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Schumer spoke at a reproductive rights rally outside the Supreme Court, while the arguments were being heard, he warned Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh that they will “pay the price” if they take a position he disagrees with on the abortion issue. Ray continues with the abortion position he holds and urges people to contact Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to censure him for his behavior.


Part 2:  Ray is joined by Bob Witkowski of Visit Portland. He is back from New Orleans.

Part 3:  Ray and Bob are joined by Dr. Dora Ann Mills. She serve as the Chief Health Improvement Officer for MaineHealth and has a long history in Maine, including serving as the Public Health Director and Director of the Maine Center for Disease Control for 14 years. She gives us how the Coronavirus and other viruses are spread and how to keep yourself safe. Maine doesn’t have any cases as of now that we know about. At risk people are the elderly and people with compromised immune systems. The Doctor says that we need to get back to Neighbor helping Neighbor. She gives what she does personally to keep herself safe.

Part 4:  Ray and Bob discuss the Democratic Primaries. The results of the primary on Saturday and how they effected Super Tuesday. What would have happened if everyone had not dropped out. What will Warren do and how long will she hang on. Ray talks about how the Democratic Party has changed their focus and Biden’s past positions verses today’s positions. Ray says that it is fun to speculate but the bottom line is nobody knows how it will end up. Bob urges people to register to vote in City Hall and make sure that you are eligible to vote in your district. Ray announces that former Green Party now Independent Lisa Savage has said that she has her signatures ready to turn in to run for US Senator against Sen. Collins and House Speaker Sarah Gideon.

Part 5:  Ray plays a clip of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer at the rally in front of the Supreme Court.

Part 6:  Ray plays the Schumer again and reads a couple of things that he has gotten on the subject. He takes a call about the news coverage on the Republican reporting of the results. The caller is frustrated with Sen. Collins and they talk about her and voting record.

Part 7:  Ray plays the clip of Schumer threatening two of the Supreme Court Judges while hearing arguments.

Part 8:  Ray plays more from the “Baby Killer Rally”. He welcomes Peter McFarland of the Portland Golf Expo. This will be the 14th show. They talk about how Spring is here and the Golf Expo is the first real sign of Spring. The Portland Golf Expo that will be held at the Holiday Inn by the Bay this weekend March 7th & 8th.
