Part 1:  Ray and Joe Bruno work together to cause mischief. This first segment touches on a lot of subjects. They talk about Maine Sen. Bill Diamond and the reason that he wouldn’t be able to be in studio this morning. They talk about Maine’s Bicentennial Celebration. The boys move on to personal achievements and personal bests. They both agree that it is important to find the strengths in your child and nurture them regardless of whether it is sports, technology, trade or music. The world needs all of these attributes to make it better. They also talk about the need to push kids, employees and people in general to be the best version of themselves. It shouldn’t be okay to settle. Ray gives two examples of what he means in with his statement.


Part 2:  Ray starts the segment with a clip of President Trump and it was interrupted by a Bloomberg ad. Joe makes a comment and then Ray says that they will be debating Question 1. Joe asks Ray about the newest thing out of Augusta.

Part 3:  Ray and Joe are joined by Dr. John Herzog and JJ Jeffrey. JJ praises Joe for his beautiful car. Ray and Joe talk about the comments about the stop and frisk comments of Bloomberg. Joe remembers why it was in place and that Bloomberg didn’t start it, Giuliani did because of the outcry of the public to do something.

Part 4:  Ray plays more a the Trump Rally. Dr. Herzog, Joe and Ray talk about medicine and new and different treatments that Dr. Herzog can provide. Dr. Herzog is an orthopedic surgeon and he explains some of the common practices verses what he is offering. Joe has had one of the treatments several years ago and hasn’t had any pain in his elbow since.

Part 5:  Ray, Dr. John Herzog and Joe continue their discussion on the positive results that he has gotten with these new techniques. Part 6:  Ray and Joe discuss the pros and cons of vaccinations. As a pharmacist, Joe owns Community Pharmacy, he talks about the benefits of vaccinations and the diseases that have almost eradicated because of them. Ray says that it isn’t about not believing in vaccinations, it is about the government mandate and that you don’t have a choice to vaccinate. This is quite a heated discussion.

Part 7:  Ray plays another clip from President Trump’s rally. The boys welcome Liz Harrington of the National Republican Committee. They talk about the Democratic Presidential Debate from the other night. Ray asks Joe if he watched it and he said that he had and it was funny. Liz stated that there wasn’t much a debate it was more of a personal attack on each other. They didn’t discuss anything with any substance. Ray and Liz talk about Obama’s Healthcare and the disaster that was, including the website. They talk about how the Democratic party has dramatically shifted in the last four years.

Part 8:  Ray plays some more of Trump’s Rally. He and Joe welcome Matt Mattingly in studio. They talk about policy and personal. They chat about being able to be open minded and not taking policy personal. People have to be willing and able to talk about opposing views and thoughts. They get into importing prescription drugs into Maine from Canada. They talk about Trish Reilly. She is Executive Director of the National Academy for State Health Policy and the architect for Dirigo Health.

Part 9:  Ray welcomes members of the 36th New England Products Trade Show. Stefa Normantas’s company organizes this wonderful event. She says this is the biggest and best that they have had. Gabe DiSaverio of The Spicy Shark. They specialize in hot sauces. He explains the name of the company. He explains Shark Fest and his love for sharks. He describes the 5 fin levels to show the heat level on the products. Kathleen O’Brien of Stonewall Kitchen joins in the discussion. She describes their products and some of the new partnerships/acquisition. Dennis Bruso of East Coast Printing is also in studio. Ray promises to get to him in the next segment.

Part 10:  Ray reintroduces the panel. He talks about East Coast Printing out of Essex Junction, VT. They do custom and licensed apparel. He credits Stefa and her show for his business growing so fast. Dennis tells how he became the only licensed vendor of Moxie products. He announces that they will be doing a fleece scarf and he is letting the studio choose which one to produce. They have mixed reviews and finally gets to a decision. All of the vendors/guests give their websites and a brief overview to wrap the show up.

Part 11:  Ray had the opportunity to do an off-site interview with representatives of Central Maine Power. Thorn Dickinson of AVANGRID and Pedro Azagra Blázquez, Corporate Development Director of the Iberdrola Group discuss recent changes in their organizational structure and investments made to protect the environment while the grid is being constructed. They discussed how the grid construction was helping to revitalized local Maine companies. They also discussed the awarding of 12 million dollars in contracts to Maine businesses that will construct mats to protect the ground during construction. As you know, Ray has been a very vocal supporter of the new grid and looks for to continued conversations around its construction.

Part 1:  Ray plays a little clip of the President’s rally from last night when he was celebrating a WWII veteran. Ray describes the scene. Ray also talks about the Democratic Candidates Debate last night. He talks about how they did personal attacks, but never really talked about their plans to “save” America. He goes on to remind us what will happen if one of them win the Presidency.


Part 2:  Ray is joined by Bob Witkowski, Visit Portland, and they discuss the last Presidential election and waiting for the decision.

Part 3:  Ray and Bob take a call from Jestin Merchant. He opened Covfefe Coffee and Gifts up in Rockland yesterday and they chat about how they were received. It is important to stand behind those that stand up. Go and show them so love. You can find the at 325 Old County Road in Rockland.

Part 4:  Ray plays a highlight clip from NBC of the Democratic Debate, it was nothing but name calling. No one said what their plan would be. Most of the clip was about Micheal Bloomberg and his policies as mayor of New York. Warren asks him about the non-disclosure agreements. Bloomberg asks Sanders about his houses. Klobuchar attacks Mayor Pete Buttigieg, then the audience attacks Biden. Bob and Ray discuss the clip. Bob gives his personal thoughts for each candidate. Ray says that he doesn’t think anyone on the stage could debate well against Trump. They talk about the new tactics of attacking each other. They take a call from Larry about President Trump’s taxes and tax returns. Larry feels so bad for Biden with loosing his son and the toll it has taken on him personally. The boys compare Biden and Sanders is age and vitality. They talk about Chuck Todd and his credentials.

Part 5:  Ray and Bob Witkowski discuss Chuck Todd and how NBC has put up with his biased nature all the while of being NBC’s National News Director, but he isn’t a journalist, he does commentary.

Part 6:  Bob and Ray discuss the birthdays that JJ missed. They welcome David Ciullo of Career Management Services, he also hosts The H.R. PowerHour on WLOB Radio. They talk about employers taking money out of the paycheck. This is a No-No. It doesn’t matter what they do (ie: breaking something, loosing something, a mistake). This can cost a lot of money and Dave stresses that words matter. Dave also brings up rest breaks. Ray says the government is so intrusive that they are into every aspect of your business. David says that this is why voting matters. David says that not following the rules could mean a lot of headaches and costs. Ray says that Dave is bringing you the best business practices to follow.

Part 7:  Ray reads a text about the vaccination discussion that happened yesterday. Ray reads the question and gives a follow up answer to clarify his position.

Part 8:  Ray welcomes one of his favorite people, Meris Bickford and she brings Robert Sheckler to join them in studio to talk about the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals (MSSPA). They have a special 1st birthday party coming up on March 1 from 1pm-3pm for Windy River. The foal that was born on the farm last year. Meris and Robert explain their capital campaign that they have every year. Buy a Bale or the new slogan, Hay It Forward. Meris explains that $5 will buy a bale of hay and feed a horse for a day. Ray asks Meris about their self-imposed quarantine and the “strangles” outbreak. They talk about the many volunteers that put in countless hours to take care of these majestic animals. They give Maine Sen. Bill Diamond a shout out for all that he does for the non-profit organization. The MSSPA receives no government funding and depends on support from the public to provide for the dozens of rescued horses served by the shelter.

Part 9:  Ray reads a text from the Dirigo Partners Text Line about Democratic Presidential Hopeful Tulsi Gabbard. He feels that she has the best chance of winning the mainstream Democratic voters, but she won’t get the nod.

Part 10:  Ray and News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan have their weekly conversation. This week they discuss the land claim settlement from 1980 with the Native American tribes and the negotiations with Gov. Mills over the casinos. Ray gives his opinion on how we give out licenses. Pat stresses how important it is to get this settled but it is extremely complicated. Ray brings up how we as a country pick on a group of people and he gives examples. Pat reminds how this state treated the native tribes and how bad it was. Addressing this issue is long overdue. Ray brings up David Flanagan coming back to CMP. Pat lists off David’s long list of credentials. They talk about the trouble CMP has had with their disconnect notices. Ray asks Pat about David Flanagan’s run for Governor.

Part 11:  Ray and Pat discuss the Democratic Presidential Debate that happened in Las Vegas last night and the different philosophies. Ray has a problem with Bloomberg, not because he is wealthy, but because he is wishy-washy. He was a Republican..then Democrat. He wants to tell people what to eat and drink.

Part 1:  Ray talks about the series that he has been enjoying about President Washington on the History Channel.


Part 2:  Ray talks about Covfefe Coffee opening today. Rowe Ford stands up and Ray tells a story about an audience member who is buying their car from them because of Rowe’s willingness to stand up. Colby College has a poll out on the Senate race between Sen. Susan Collins and Maine House Speaker Sara Gideon.

Part 3:  Ray, David Jones and JJ Jeffrey talk about Presidential Candidate Michael Bloomberg and his comments over the years.

Part 4:  Ray and David welcome Cara Magrogan, Dr. Kelly Brunner, Andrea and Dr. Sara and  in studio. They are representing Yes on 1 Maine to Reject Big Pharma which is an unprecedented grassroots People’s Veto campaign led by Maine parents to overturn a new law, LD798 (ch. 154). They stress that they are not anti-vaccination….they are anti-government mandated vaccination. They talk about the freedom of choice.  Cara says that this is a bi-partisan issue and that this is the only issue that they all agree on. They talk about how the lobbyist have so much control over the legislature and the people that make the laws. David gives them kudos for all of the hard work to get the required signatures. Ray and Kelly talk about the true American dream is freedom of choice, not a house. Andrea has changed parties over this issue because of the way the Democrats have been pushing this. This movement isn’t about being anti-vaccination…it is about a violation of rights. Ray says that this is an activism subject. The government shouldn’t be able to tell us what to do. Part 5:  Ray, David, Andrea, Dr. Sara, Dr. Kelly and Cara continue their discussion on Freedom of choice and the broad coalition that banded together to protect Maine Citizen’s Rights. Part 6:  Ray and David talk about how inspiring the ladies of the previous segments were on the issues and how passionate they became to fight for their rights. Ray and David welcome Mandi Merritt, Regional Communications Director at Republican National Committee by phone. They talk about Micheal Bloomberg and how it seems that he has bought his way onto the platform and into the race. They talk about some of the outrageous comments that he has said about being a nanny, a farmer or the black/Hispanic youth. They compare the accomplishments of President Obama and President Trump in the job market and the economy. Ray tries to play a clip of Obama saying that you didn’t build your company, somebody else did that.

Part 7:  Ray plays Paul Harvey’s God Made a Farmer clip.

Part 8:  Ray and David talk about a little tyranny. They talk about the freedom from the government. Ray and David discuss the hypocrisy of the government and how they are encroaching on our personal rights. Ray talks about the Karl Marx theory on children.

Part 9:  Ray and David talk about Maine Senator Bill Diamond. His name came up in an earlier segment. Ray and David wish him a very Happy Birthday! They talk about how reasonable and thoughtful he is and that he doesn’t just vote party lines.

02-18-20 Trump Tuesday

Part 1:  Ray plays his favorite song, “Come To Me” by the Mavericks. Then he talks about the Boy Scouts filing for Bankruptcy and Micheal Bloomberg. Ray talks about the comments in Bloomberg’s past that are coming back to haunt him. Ray starts off this thought process with a horse flying in first class as a therapy animal. He says that through all of the troubles that we as a family have faced. Our family motto is there is nothing tougher than we are together and nothing will beat me down.


Part 2:  Covfefe Coffee and Gifts, named after a typo in a tweet by Donald Trump. They will sell coffee and merchandise inspired by President Trump. Ray takes a call from Gordon Draper.

Part 3:  David says that 2020 is the year. Ray brings up flying first class with a therapy horse in First Class as well. They talk about all of the different breeds of animals that are being used. Then they question, where is PETA.

Part 4:  Ray and David welcome Jestin Merchant. He is opening Covfefe Coffee and Gifts in Rockland soon. He is trying to support our President and have a safe space for fellow supporters.  They talk about that Pres. Trump isn’t a perfect person but he is our President. They will have to sell 100 bags of coffee to pay their taxes. David drove by yesterday and talked about his location and the names of the coffees that they will be offering. They talk about Covfefe’s logo. They talk about freedom and standing up and supporting like minded people. Go by and stand with them and support them. They plan on growing their business as time goes on. They are opening tomorrow morning, 325 Old County Road in Rockland.

Part 5:  Ray and David Jones welcome Derek Gause in studio. Ray briefly explains their connection and the Sea Dogs Veteran Appreciation Game. Ray says that he has a history in the broadcasting business. He is also current active member of the military. Ray and Derek talk about his dad and parenting. His dad is also a veteran and works for CMP.

Part 6:  Ray and Derek talk about being a young, conservative black man in Maine. Derek says the the majority of black men in the military are conservative. Dr. Demi Kouzounas joins the boys this morning.

Part 7:  Ray, David Jones, Maine GOP Chair Dr. Demi Kouzounas and Derek Gause are all in the house. Ray asks Demi about the Repeal Ranked Choice effort. They also talk about the new vaccination law that they are fighting. It should be about choice, not about what they government tells you to do. Ray asks Derek about the difference between when he studied at NESCOM and now in how the media covers the news.

Part 8:  Ray and David are surrounded by military….Dr. Demi Kouzounas, Derek Gause and Tim Frechette. David says that he is happy to see the conservative value in a young person. Derek says a huge “Thank You” to his parents. Ray says that family makes a big difference. Parents need to be involved in raising their children.

Part 9:  David, Ray, Demi, Derek and Tim Frechette are in studio. Ray says that the word of the day is “Covfefe”. David says it again. He stresses that we need to stand up and support them. The left has already written a bad review and they haven’t even opened yet. Ray tells Derek that he has gotten many text marriage proposals for him and he replies that he is single. They talk about the Glory Days. Derek talks about his football career back at Coney High. They end up with a discussion about the gym and what time they go. Ray brings up Dan Merrill’s Facebook post and Alan Dershowitz. Ray explains why it is such a huge thing. George Soros is funding a lot of candidates (big money) Mitt Romney was funded by George Soros and Micheal Bloomberg has been saying thank me for Trump being impeached. Derek talks about Elizabeth Warren and the winery and money. Nothing but hypocrisy from the Democrat side, they can do anything, but if Trump even looks sideways they scream impeach.

Part 10:  Ray plays an Eminem song and the panel discuss his music. They talk about tattoos. Ray asks David what the code word is again.
