Part 1: Ray opens with a clip from one of the most iconic Presidential speeches from President Ronald Reagan. He gives a shout out to Col. Deo Lauria. Ray explains how words matter and if we aren’t ever vigilant, we could go down the path of Germany, building a wall to keep IN, and guards to shoot people that tried to seek freedom. Communists built the wall, is that direction we want our country to head?
Part 2: Mark Reilly joins Ray as plays a clip from President John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address on January 20, 1961 with the famous quote “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” Ray gives a commentary about how the once noble Democratic party has gone down a socialistic path. He brings up his friend Harold Pachios and his service under Sargent Shriver during President Kennedy’s term in office.
Part 3: Ray plays “Carolina in My Mind” by James Taylor. He and Mark talk about President’s Day and different president. Ray is anticipating a series on President Washington that will be on the History Channel for three nights. He asks Mark who is his favorite president.
Part 4: Ray plays a clip from yesterday. President Trump appeared at the Daytona 500. They talk about Melania Trump and how she could be on a magazine cover. They talk about the presidential race and the primaries coming up. They talk about Bloomberg choosing Hillary as a running mate. Ray doesn’t see the attraction for him to have her and if it could be just a rumor.
Part 5: Ray asks Mark about Amazon’s affect on the Postal Service. Ray asks Mark who is his favorite President. Mark says that there are several, each because of some of their contributions.
Part 6: Ray welcomes back Sarem Al-Shawk and Corey Troup of Al-Shawk Home Healthcare. The boys brought in John Downing. John helps match caregiver to patient. They talk about a company up in Farmington that covers 16 different counties that will be closing and there will be a lot of people either out of a job or loosing someone that has cared for a loved one. Also discussed is how Maine’s government reimburses the home health and nursing home facilities. That they have mandated increases in expenses like wages and taxes, but not adequately brought up the reimbursements to the same level so they can’t afford to operate.
Part 7: Ray continues talking to Sarem Al-Shawk and Corey Troup of Al-Shawk Home Healthcare and John Downing is a Personal Support Specialist. Ray asks some questions that have come through the text line and by email. You can also find them on Facebook.
Part 8: Ray plays another presidential clip of President Reagan before he actually was President to celebrate President’s Day. He then welcomes a familiar guest from New Hampshire, Former Trump campaign manager and Senior Advisor to the President, Corey Lewandowski. Ray and Corey compare President Reagan’s business philosophy to President Trump’s. They are very similar. Deregulation was huge in both administration. Corey makes the joke. There is a knock on the door and it is the government and we’re here to help. Ray reads a text about the fallacy that because Trump has deregulated he has sold out the earth and the boys discuss this issue. They continue with the hypocrisy of the Climate Crisis people that are flying all over the place in their private jets. They also talk about how religion and faith are an integral part what makes America works.
Part 9: Ray plays more of President Reagan and his speech about Freedom.
Part 10: Ray finishes the Freedom speech that he started playing in the previous segment. Ray talks about patriotism and “Jingoism” (a phrase that became popular under President George W. Bush). Ray talks about being an American and the difference between us and other countries. He continues with Reagan’s vision and the popular culture and immigration. Ray calls on anyone listening that it is up to us to spread the truth about how immigration and government works. He calls for people to do their homework on Bernie Sanders if you are thinking about voting for him. Ray reminds people that Bernie ran and was rejected by the Democrats for being to Socialist. Fast forward a short four years and the Democratic party candidates are trying to out-socialize each other.
Part 11: Ray takes a call from Arthur Langley calls in to talk about the powerful Democratic Speaker of the House, Tip O’Neill, who became the adversary and negotiating partner of Ronald Reagan during the 1980s. He also speaks to the Cuban immigration that Ray spoke of earlier and his personal experiences of sailing in those waters.
