Part 1: Ray talks about an editorial written for Christianity Today by Mark Galli who is the editor in chief of Christianity Today. Ray talks about the founder of the publication, the late Billy Graham. Ray talks about how Billy’s son, Franklin, has come out to say that his dad voted for Donald and that he supported Trump. Ray also calls out the Pope and the long standing practice of sweeping things under the rug and instead of addressing they just move a priest to a different parish.
Part 2: Ray reads an email from Bob of K’bunk. He talks about the church and how it has become window into the culture of the moment. He says that it seems that churches that stay to course of the Bible are thriving and the churches that are bending are dwindling. He talks about the differences between millennials and baby boomers.
Part 3: Ray plays some Alabama and explains why they are one of his favorite groups. Ray talks about the Battle of the Bulge and reads a piece by William “Bill” Federer.
Part 4: Ray talks about the true meaning Christmas and why we celebrate. He asks why it isn’t okay to talk about faith. He explains his point of view.
Part 5: Ray reads and comments on the mental health crisis and how it is growing. He ponders the thought that maybe the hopelessness and emptiness that is all consuming, could be a result of the void of faith in something as he has stated before.
Part 6: Ray talks about the Impeachment of President Trump and the acceptance of the election. The Democrats have been trying to get him out of office since before he was elected. He talks about the popular vote verses electoral vote.
Part 7: Ray talks about the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment and Abortion.
Part 8: Ray plays the The Maine Christmas Song. Con Fullam wrote it and explains the story behind it. Bob Elliot of Channel 6. They had the Channel 6 singers and Pat Callaghan was part of the group. Con explains that he Bob contacted him and wanted this song and gave him a week to write it. Con gives back with every sale by supporting Feed Maine Hunger. They talk about where to find the CD and how it is now available in more places including Box of Maine. They boys also talk about some of the other things that Con has done over the years. Ray asks him how he got started and he says because of his dad’s ukulele.
Part 9: Real short segment.
Part 10: Ray and Dee Dee talking about the soap opera that is known as American Politics. Ray takes a call about the hunger situation in Maine and the rest of the country. They discuss a lot of the programs out there to help, but there is even more people going hungry. They talk about the government and their free handouts and the way free school lunch/breakfast and efficient food stamp programs. Ray says that as government grows, they aren’t solving the problem.
Part 11: Ray talks about Eastpoint Christian Church. He describes his surprise of the guest pastor. Chris Flathers, a former pastor leadership member of Eastpoint that has gone out to Colorado to start a new church, Connect Church.
