Part 1: Ray is so frustrated by the Anti-American rhetoric that is spreading across America. He names the Representatives in Congress that are against America. He talks about the US Women’s National Soccer Team. He urges people to start standing up and supporting America. Businesses shouldn’t worry about being boycotted because the squeaky wheel is actually a really small percentage of people. Ray says that is a small bobtail wagging a big dog.
Part 2: Ray chats with Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland. Their conversation starts with the heat and how it affects people. They talk about how the left is so left and there really isn’t medium anymore even though it seems that most people feel more comfortable there.
Part 3: John Adams (October 30, 1735 – July 4, 1826) was an American statesman, attorney, diplomat, writer, and Founding Father who served as the first Vice-President and the second President of the United States from 1797 to 1801. John and Abigail had six children, one of which was John Quincy Adams the sixth President. He and Thomas Jefferson were really good friends but had a falling out and didn’t get back in good standing until almost their deaths. The reconciliation was brought about by Abigail Adams.
Part 4: Ray is joined by Bob Witkowski in the discussion about John Adams. Bob mentions the play/movie 1776. He was the Counsel for the British: Boston Massacre. They continue to mention some of the great movies that portray Adams. The boys go back in history to how all of the relationships among the founding fathers.
Part 5: Ray and Bob continue the discussion of the Founding Fathers. The boys talk about one of the first embattled and nasty elections. There is nothing new in ugly elections.
Part 6: They continue talking about history. This segment is about some of Maine’s history. The studio takes a call about how Maine has been the “canary in the mine shaft” since the beginning. This leads to a discussion about the last election came about. They also are looking forward to 2024.
Part 7: Ray and Bob…aka Reginald and Arthur discuss all of the trouble the America is having right in the moment. The boys do a segment as English “gentlemen” and I use that term loosely.
Part 8: Ray welcomes Liz Harrington of the Republican National Committee by phone. They talk about the flag and how it was missing from the Democratic Debate and what platforms they are running on. Liz reminds us that Beto go across the border while campaigning. They talk about the greatness of our country and the freedoms that we have by living here over other countries. They chat about the Representatives that are denigrating America and where is the media? They are re-writing history and anti-Semitic and should be ashamed.
Part 9: Ray welcomes Fox News Radio’s Jon Decker. The boys discuss last night’s Trump rally in North Carolina. There was a huge reception. Trump goes after “the Squad”. They talk about the President’s Twitter account. They talk about the next election and how it will more than likely be a capitalism vs socialism. Ray brings up Matt Bevins 2024 and Jon says that he won’t discount Mike Pence.
Part 10: Ray and Debi welcome News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan. They talk about the drink Tang and how it was “cool” back in the day to drink what the Astronauts drink. They discuss the computers that got them up into space. The determination and the powerful way John F. Kennedy’s speech was, especially considering as Pat said “We didn’t know, what we didn’t know.” Pat mentions some of the great movies that tell the story behind how we got to the moon and back.
Part 11: Pat Callaghan and Ray continue their discussion on the mission to the moon 50 years ago. Ray recalls a conversation about the feelings of the wives and loved ones of the astronauts and the famous walk on the moon.
Part 1: Ray pokes fun at “The Squad”. Squad members include four progressive freshmen congresswomen: Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. Ray, Dee Dee and Debi Davis discuss racism.
Part 2: They take a call from a Paul from Ormond Beach Florida. Ray tells him that he is glad to hear from him, because it had been a while. He asks who was in studio and Ray introduces Dee Dee. Paul asks about her accent and she says it is from Leesburg Florida.
Part 3: This is the History Lesson Segment: Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 – April 17, 1790) was an American polymath and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, Freemason, postmaster, scientist, inventor, humorist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat. As a scientist, he was a major figure in the American Enlightenment and the history of physics for his discoveries and theories regarding electricity. He was a fascinating man that was way before his time.
Part 4: Ray welcomes State Senator Bill Diamond. Ray interviews the Senator about some of the bills that came onto the floor. The chat about several bills that came to a vote. The boys also discuss Governor Janet Mills. They talk about Sen. Diamond’s opinion on the Assisted Suicide bill and the People’s Veto effort.
Part 5: Ray and Senator Bill Diamond continue their discussions on some of the bill that have gone through the House and Senate. What has Governor Mills signed and the procedure to overturn some of the damage. They talk about dark money.
Part 6: Ray and the gang take a call from Gordon Draper about the mandate on Solar Power on homes. Bill says that there wasn’t a mandate. Ray gives a shout out to Debi’s husband and Ray lists off some of his many jobs. They tease each other about funding of some of the studies. They also talk about when Bill was a contestant on the game show “Hollywood Squares”. They also talk about Westbrook and the smell of money. They keep on the money track and end up with the Department of Transportation.
Part 7: The studio discussion in this segment is about home remedies…which leads to hand sanitizer. They also talk about how important it is to use the sanitizing wipe on the grocery carts because of the fentanyl residue that could possibly be there.
Part 8: Ray reads a story about a marine and his 100th Birthday. Ray asks a question from Joe. Then, Bill asks Ray about his stance in immunization. Bill asks Ray to clarify because he was unclear and thought that Ray had changed his position. They discuss the wording of that bill. They also get into the immigrants coming into our country and their medical care. Then on to the asylum seekers and their immunizations. They talk about Portland City Manager. Ray expresses his vast disappointment is Governor Mills and some of the radical ideas that she has supported.
Part 9: Ray and Bill discuss protesters. Bill questions how do the protesters afford to be protesting. Ray explains that a lot of them get paid to protest. They start on talking about the roads.
Part 10: Japhet (Jay) Els, Outreach Director of AARP Maine and Austin Hodge, Senior Advocacy Specialist of AARP join Ray in studio. Bill had to run, but it was nice to visit with him. They boys discuss Amy Gallant and her integrity. Jay brings up some of the grants that the AARP that have been awarded. Tool Library is one and Austin explains what that means. Jay gives an example about snow removal. Austin tells about another grant for improving trails. Jay reiterates that the AARP is working in your community to support community. He reminds the audience of some of the walking groups that AARP Maine has initiated.
Part 11: The boys of the AARP are still with us and Ray explains why he has a relationship with AARP. Ray gives kudos to the AARP Maine for the work they have done and the advocacy work that they have done for the state of Maine. Jay does a little bit of a further explanation. Ray gives a shout out to Jane Margesson of AARP Maine and her fraud watch work. Jay talks about the Utility rate changes that have been proposed from Central Maine Power. Jay also mentions the smart meters and the customer service debacle. Ray supports the CMP Corridor and would probably have not had the rate hike to be cognitive of the public relations aspect.
Part 1: Ray and Debi talk briefly about Joe Biden. Ray heads to the topic of people’s sexuality. He and Debi discuss an article that was in the Atlantic stating that Mayor Pete isn’t Gay enough. Ray reads and they comment on a story from Fox News about U.S. Women’s National Team’s Ashlyn Harris accused her former teammate, Jaelene Hinkle, of homophobia Monday after an old interview resurfaced on Twitter in which Hinkle spoke of her refusal to wear a pro-LGBTQ jersey.
Part 2: Debi plays a song by Meghan Trainor’s I Would Want To Be Me Too. Ray reads a story about retired U.S. Air Force major general, Jonathan “Tracer” Treacy, filing as a Democratic candidate against Sen. Susan Collins. This leads to a discussion between Ray and Debi about the party in-fighting between Nancy Pelosi and the squad.
Part 3: This is the History Lesson Segment: James Monroe (April 28, 1758 – July 4, 1831) was an American statesman, lawyer, diplomat, and Founding Father who served as the fifth president of the United States from 1817 to 1825. Monroe was the last president of the Virginia dynasty, and his presidency coincided with the Era of Good Feelings. He is perhaps best known for issuing the Monroe Doctrine, a policy of opposing European colonialism in the Americas.
Part 4: Ray welcomes Pete McVety of McVety’s Hearth and Home. They chat about the Maine Heritage Policy Center‘s Freedom and Opportunity Luncheon. Their keynote speaker was also a guest here. Kentucky Governor Matt Bevins was a fantastic and motivational speaker. The boys talk about the “non-compliant sale” that McVety’s is holding. Pete explains what “non-compliant” means and the regulations. They talk about the McVety’s commercials that is running on WLOB and how they come about.
Part 5: Ray and Pete discuss Pete’s service. Pete tells about how he got into the service. He served as a Navy Fighter Pilot. He served for 20 years. Pete tells some of the places he served. He flew over Iraq and Ray asks him about fear. Pete simply says that there wasn’t fear, he just did what he was trained to do.
Part 6: Ray takes a call and he asks Pete what was his rank. Pete answers that he was a Commander. The caller also wants to hear more stories. The caller says that his daughter also served. Ray agrees. Pete is asked about fight times and equipment. Pete gets a call from a friend, Ross, about upgrading equipment verses having new equipment. Pete explains that Ross is the trumpet player in his band. They take a caller from Gordon Draper who asks about some of the different kind of training facilities. They also talk about the firewood industry and how the wet Spring we had has led to a small shortage. Ray mentions that Doug Thomas has firewood and willing to deliver.
Part 7: Ray and Pete welcome Maine Republican Party Chair Dr. Demi Kouzounas. They take a call from Listener #30.
Part 8: The panel talk about just how easily our republic can fall. They talk about how the National Media and the far left are running our country and why are we allowing it to happen. Demi shares her thoughts. She feels that this is just big ole temper tantrum.
Part 9: Ray and the panel discuss DNA of Ray and Dee Dee and poke fun of Elizabeth Warren. Dee Dee turns out to have 1% Native American DNA and Ray has 1% Cameroon, Congo and Southern Bantu People.
Part 10: Ray teases that he has a new retirement plan….reparations! Mike Joyce of the National Republican Party joins in by phone. They talk about “The Squad” and the in-fighting within the Democratic Party. The Freshmen members are pushing a really hard left, socialist plan and the rest of the party seem to be following their lead. Ray asks Dr. Demi about Reproductive Justice. Ray lists out some of the names/labels that the left will hang on someone that doesn’t agree with their opinion. They talk about the fact that everything is open-minded if it is anything that they approve of, but they attack Vice-President’s faith. Pete brings up how they have attacked Gov. LePage.
Part 11: Demi tells us how excited the Republican National Committee is because of the donations that are coming in. This shows us that people are frustrated with the way the country and state have been going. This leads them down the path of ancestry and the bottom line is that we are all American.
Part 1: Ray, Debi Davis and Dee Dee discuss the Moxie Festival. Ray announced the Moxie Parade. It was a glorious day for a parade. He gives a shout out to Julie Ann Braumer for her fantastic job in organizing this event. Ray continues with our weekend and the rascally cat that has been a menace. This leads to the story about how he had come into his home last summer.
Part 2: Ray and the girls continue the discussion on cats. Debi had taken a call during the break about how cats can legally run free. Ray also talks about how the people of New York are mad at Mayor DeBlasio. He was on the road campaigning and not in New York at the time.
Part 3: This is the History Lesson Segment: Roger Sherman (April 19, 1721 – July 23, 1793) Sherman is especially notable in United States history for being the only person to sign all four great state papers of the United States, the United States Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Association, the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution. Numerous of Roger Sherman’s descendants achieved prominence. He had 15 children between two wives. He did not own slaves.
Part 4: Ray welcomes David Jones in studio and Mike McClellan, who is running a Peoples Veto training in Scarborough tonight at 6pm at the Cornerstone Baptist Academy, 415 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074. He is organizing to gather signatures to repeal LD 820 (taxpayer funded abortion) and LD 1313 (assisted suicide). There is already one out on LD 798 (immunization). Part 5: Ray, David, Dee Dee and Debi discuss the announcement that the new 007 will be a woman. This leads Ray down the path of the enlightenment and discussion.
Part 6: Ray and David switch their hats to Real Estate. The FO Bailey Real Estate segment this week is about interest rates. They talk about the different kinds. Both believe that a fixed rate is the way to go. An adjustable rate is like playing Russian Roulette. David and Ray talk about how the adjustable loans work. They talk about assumable mortgages which are not really done anymore.
Part 7: Call David today. He tells us about a couple of subdivisions he has places available. Ray runs the numbers and explains how affordable owning your home is and that you really cannot afford not to buy. Part 8: Ray and David discuss David’s new project. The Lodge at Ducktrap Retreat it is located up in Lincolnville Maine. They list off some of the amenities that are available. (tennis courts, fireplace, sleeps 16, outdoor kitchen, indoor kitchen, pool, beach access, indoor shuffle board) are just a few of the fun things to do. Ray turns his attention to the BE BOLD! initiative. He re-announces the opportunity to help by Peoples Veto training in Scarborough tonight. They talk about the different bills that they want to repeal. They also talk about the birth of a baby from a donated uterus in Ohio.
Part 9: Ray reads a story about Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke where he revealed that he was recently given documents showing he and his wife, Amy, are descendants of slave owners. O’Rourke said he continues to support reparations for the descendants of slaves, which has gained popularity among Democratic candidates.
Part 10: Ray reads a story from the Sun Journal about the roughly $800,000 that have been raised by private citizens and foundations over the last month to help care for more than 250 asylum seekers who are being temporarily housed in the Expo in Portland, according to city officials. Ray reads the whole story and he and Debi comment as he reads.
Part 11: Ray talks about how government thinks that it knows what is better for you than you do. Ray mentions several thoughts and ideas to support their thoughts (tongue in cheek) but then reminds people about the condition of our roads and bridges.
