Part 1: Ray and David are joined in studio by John Carroll of Central Maine Power. They talk about rising electric prices in Maine and our power lines and they are linked.The 2019 Standard Offer supply rate for customers of Bangor Hydro 2019 was released on Wednesday. The price will jump almost 14% on January 1st. He names some of the power suppliers that have closed or will be closing.
Part 2: They talk about the corridor through The Forks area in North-Western Maine.
Part 3: Ray, David and John continue the discussion on the corridor coming into Maine just south of Jackman. They talk about the fact that Maine will not be paying for it and it is all privately owned land that is already being harvested.
Part 4: They take a call from a gentleman that lives in the corridor area that CMP is proposing. He feels that they have done their homework and have a good plan. John explains the plan a little.
