Ray is thankful that this has been an international effort to get these boys out. Ray and Debi have a quick discussion about the Supreme Court Nomination announcement and Pres. Trumps pick. Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland calls in to continue the discussion with Ray.
Part 2: Ray reads a press release about Zak Ringelstein (who is running against Sen. King and Eric Brakey) accosting Gov. LePage and blaming him for the opioid deaths and thinks that LePage should be arrested.

He talks about Maine Referendum’s Question 1 (”An Act To Establish Universal Home Care for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities,”) on the November ballot. This measure needs to be defeated. Part 2: Fox News Radio’s Simon Owen joins us with an update on the soccer team rescue out of Thailand. The rescue efforts have gotten 5 boys out. Simon describes the cave and some of the issues in getting them out. This has been an international effort.
Part 3: Assistant House Republican Leader Ellie Espling joins us by phone. Ellie explains how voting on the Gov.’s vetoes will work. She explains the conversion therapy bill will probably be sustained, because of the wording of the bill. She also hopes that they will be able to get done today. Paul from Ormand Beach, Florida calls in and talks about the development that has happened there and how it has upset the environment. It is all because of apathy.
Part 4: Ray takes a call about the vetoed bills from the Gov. and compares it to Ranked Choice Voting and he asks Ray about conversion therapy.

Part 3: Ray and Debi talk about conversion therapy. Gov. Paul LePage vetoed a bill that would have prohibited state-licensed mental health professionals from subjecting minors to conversion therapy, which attempts to change the orientation or identity of LGBTQ people.
Part 4: Ray reads some of the headlines about the Putin-Trump summit.

Part 1: Ray touches on the vote happening in Augusta today on the bills that Gov. LePage has vetoed. Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland joins by phone to discuss the nominations. Pres. Trump will be giving his “Prime Time” announcement tonight. There are two swing votes, Sen. Susan Collins, (R. Maine) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski, (R. Alaska). Ray and Debi talk about the boys trapped in a cave in Thailand.
Part 2: Ray continues on the Veto of bills that are in front of the Maine House. Assistant Minority House Leader Ellie Espling will be joining us later this am. Ray and Debi talk about the Democratic Party and how they have changed. Debi would like them to go back to the party.
Part 3: The Pine Tree Zone program, created in 2003 as a way to spur economic activity in hard-pressed corners of the state, offers reimbursements and tax credits to qualified businesses. OPEGA estimated that this year the state will lose $12.1 million in tax revenue through the program. George Gervais, the DECD commissioner oversees the program.
