04-27-18 Mental Health
Part 1: The boys start by Ray telling them that there will be a public memorial service for the fallen Somerset County Sheriff’s Deputy, Eugene Cole. The discussion turns to the suspect and drugs and ends up with mental illness.
Part 2: The discussion continues on mental health and how it isn’t a political issue.
04-27-18 Signature Petitions
Part 1: Ray, Joe and Tim discuss the signatures of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Max Linn. He was in a primary race against Eric Brakey for U.S. Sen. Angus King’s seat. Where does the buck stop? The invalid signatures should have been caught at the town level. It should have never gotten this far.
Part 2: Joe goes on to state that just because you get a $5.00 check, doesn’t mean that person will vote for you. It could be that they just wanted to make sure you were able to get on the ballot so people could make a choice.
