04-16-18 Jackie Robinson
Ray gives a really nice tribute to Jackie Robinson. Yesterday was the anniversary of him breaking the color barrier. Jackie stood up for what was right and didn’t let his personal feelings get in the way of history. Because of the way he carried himself, they retired his number, not just the team, but the whole league.
04-16-18 Trump Administration
Ray reads a quote from Hillary Clinton “We are living in challenging times. We’re living through a war on truth, facts and reason, watching as racist and white supremacist views are lifted up in the media and in the White House. But despite it all, there are signs of hope and resilience. And much of that is being led and shaped by black women like my dear friend Maxine Waters.” Ray takes a call from Larry. They talk about President Trump and how he is getting things done. They also talk about the fact that Pres. Trump isn’t as polished as they would like, but knew he would shake things up and make some real changes.
