Part 1: Joe, Bill, Tim and Ray discuss Narcan and Naloxone and the new bill submitted by Speaker of the Maine House Sara Gideon. She submitted LD 1892, An Act To Clarify the Prescribing and Dispensing of Naloxone Hydrochloride by Pharmacists, which will allow for people under the age of 21 to have access to the life-saving drug Narcan.
Part 2: They boys go to Sara Gideon website. She says on her website that after an unexplained six-month delay, the Board of Pharmacy finally took action on proposed rules related to the original legislation, LD 1594, An Act Regarding the Dispensing of Naloxone Hydrochloride by Pharmacists. She is not representing that facts and the people signing the bill into law.

Sen. Bill Diamond joins Ray, Joe and Tim in studio. The talk about the process of a bill in the Maine Legislation. Joe and Bill both have served in Augusta back in the day and explain the difference in the way they processed bills. There used to be a hearing on each bill so that there could be discussions and public notifications, but that doesn’t happen anymore. They also talk about the qualifications of the President of the United State and Ray suggests that maybe Maine should have similar qualifications.

Secretary of State Matt Dunlap join Ray, Tim Wilson, Debi and Joe Bruno by phone. They talk about the allegations that Republican U.S. Senate candidate Max Linn’s campaign forged the signatures of dead voters to get his name on the ballot. Secretary of State’s Office is now looking into whether or not there was fraud. They boys ask several questions about Ranked Choice Voting. He says that he can’t choose which statutes to follow and which ones he won’t. He describes the process of how voting will work.

Tim Wilson joins Ray, Joe and Debi this morning and the discussion turns to the Red Sox. They talk about the fact that Joe actually grew up in New York, not New Jersey. Then they talk about stats and yesterday’s game.
