This segment has a caller concerned about the school safety #Enough Walkout that is happening on March 14th. His concern is that there is only one side being presented. It has become a political event and he also brings up Senior Skip Day (that is organized by the students) that anyone that participated they would have the consequences to follow. Ray explains the group that is behind this “student” walkout. Ray gets into the NRA and their role in policy making. He points out that the elected people are the ones that make policy and laws.

Ray response to some of the text messages that he has received on the Walkout events planned. He reiterates that his frustration isn’t about what the kids have planned or that they are speaking out. He applauds kids standing up. However, he is very upset that the adults running the schools have made this a political event. Old Orchard only has Mark Eves speaking and Westbrook only one side of the argument on school safety speaking.

Ray reads a story from the Blumberg Report about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice is said to be close to completion, but he may set it aside while he finishes other key parts of his probe, such as possible collusion and the hacking of Democrats, according to current and former U.S. officials. Ray brings us a story out of Portsmouth, NH. The Portsmouth Public Library had drag queens come in and read stories to children. Drag Queen Story Hour is not a new concept, but rather this event is part of a national diversity program.
