Part 1: Ray starts the segment with a statistic about the poverty levels in the country. Surprise, Surprise, California is number one in poverty. Ray and Tim Wilson discuss poverty and how we start talking about prosperity vs poverty. Ray makes the statement that the youth are moving south.
Part 2: North versus South. Ray has gotten several messages saying that he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Ray states again that his remarks were bases on his observations. Tim talks his first job.
03-09-18 A Potpourri Segment
Part 1: Tim Wilson joins Ray and Debi this morning. They talk about so many things in this segment it was hard to keep up. A caller started the discussion on voting with a question on what is going in Central Maine. Somehow they end up talking immigration.
Part 2: Lewiston Mayor Shane Bouchard sent a letter to all of the new voters. Bouchard says the letter “describes the expectations of a voter following registration, was purely “informational,” was meant to clear up post-election confusion he saw on social media about state law. Tim talks about the voter fraud in Maine.

Ray and Debi talk about a story out of California where a Latino restaurant refused to serve a policeman in his uniform. How is that not discrimination. They discuss what would happen if it was a person of color, a Jewish person or any other race.

Ray and Debi start the morning talking about the Nor’easter yesterday. Ray also talks about the announcement from South Korea yesterday. President Donald Trump has agreed to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sometime before May. This will be the first time the Kim Jong Un has ever met with another world leader in his six year reign. Tariffs are also discussed.
