Segment 1:  Ray Richardson and Dee Dee talk about the stars. Ray talks about the current events and the idea of announcing that President Biden is heading to Israel.


Segment 2:  Ray talks about the election for the Speaker of the House and whether Jim Jordan has the votes.

Segment 3:  David Jones (FO Bailey Real Estate) joins Ray and Dee Dee. The conversation is about the House of Representative, the Free Market, subsidies, crony capitalism, and more. Ray reads part of story about the Maine DSA Stages Pro-Hamas Rally in Portland, Calls Terror Attacks on Israel “Morally and Legally Legitimate”.

Segment 4:  Ray and David talk about a video that Mike Mercer posted on Facebook showing a BLM group surrounding a Portland Maine police car. The lack of support for our officers.

Segments 5-6:  Ray reads a couple of posts and then shares what is happening in Israel. Paul Balsamo (Life House Maine) joins the boys. He shares some of the generousness of some of our listeners, the beginning of Life House, Life House’s mission and how they work.


Segment 7:  Jessica Gagne of Channel 8 WMTW joins Ray and they talk about the Maine Broadcasters Awards and that WMTW came out with three awards, being a Mainer, Ray congratulates WMTW for their success.

Segment 8:  Ray reads a text from Cheryl from Bath about an event she will be attending and that Life House is the guest presenter. David announces that there are petitions for Donald J. Trump to be on the ballot, are at the FO Bailey in Falmouth on Route 1.

Segment 9:  Maine Rep. Barbara Bagshaw (R-Windham) joins to discuss the importance of voting on November 7, 2023. David explains how simple it is to do an absentee ballot. Ray and Barbara discuss the referendum questions and whether she will support or not.

Segment 11:  Ray reads another text and then the boys take calls. Gordan calls in about Tunnels To Towers and the great work that they are doing for Vets, Steve from Westbrook, and Scott Jordan also call in about the schools.

Segment 12:  Ray wants to know how people can be upset, but not voice their opinion at the ballot box.

Segment 13:  Ray asks “if everyone is so upset, then why are you not showing up to vote”. Ray takes calls.

Segment 14:  Ray questions why people can’t understand what he is saying.

Segment 15:  Ray questions what do we stand for? He takes calls.

Segment 16:  Ray wishes Karen Diamond a very Happy Birthday and moves on to the House Speaker vote. He takes a call.

Citizen’s Guide to the
2023 Maine Referendum Election

AUGUSTA — As Election Day nears on Nov. 7, Secretary of State Shenna Bellows is reminding all Maine voters of a non-partisan resource that can help them make informed decisions at the polls: the 2023 Maine Citizen’s Guide to the Referendum Election.

The guide, prepared by the Department of the Secretary of State in collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General and Office of Fiscal and Program Review, is an unbiased and non-partisan review of the issues that voters will consider at the polls this November. It is available on the Secretary of State’s website at www.maine.gov/sos/cec/elec/upcoming/index.html. Copies of the guide are also printed and distributed to municipal offices and public libraries throughout the state.

“Maine voters are being asked to weigh in on a number of consequential questions this November,” said Secretary Bellows. “This guide will help voters make their own decisions about how to vote with full, fair information about each ballot question. We encourage everyone to act now to learn about the upcoming referendum election and get ready to vote!”

The Citizens Guide provides detailed information about each question on the November ballot. Voters can see the legislation behind this year’s ballot issues, as well as analysis of the intent and content of each question. Election law also allows for citizen advocacy statements to be published supporting or opposing questions, which provides voters with those viewpoints to consider.

Voters will decide on four citizens’ initiatives and four constitutional amendments that will appear on the Nov. 7 ballot:

QUESTION 1: Do you want to bar some quasi-governmental entities and all consumer-owned electric utilities from taking on more than $1 billion in debt unless they get statewide voter approval?

QUESTION 2: Do you want to ban foreign governments and entities that they own, control, or influence from making campaign contributions or financing communications for or against candidates or ballot questions?

QUESTION 3: Do you want to create a new power company governed by an elected board to acquire and operate existing for-profit electricity transmission and distribution facilities in Maine?

QUESTION 4: Do you want to require vehicle manufacturers to standardize on-board diagnostic systems and provide remote access to those systems and mechanical data to owners and independent repair facilities?

QUESTION 5: Do you favor amending the Constitution of Maine to change the time period for judicial review of the validity of written petitions from within 100 days from the date of filing to within 100 business days from the date of filing of a written petition in the office of the Secretary of State, with an exception for petitions filed within 30 calendar days before or after a general election?

QUESTION 6: Do you favor amending the Constitution of Maine to require that all of the provisions of the Constitution be included in the official printed copies of the Constitution prepared by the Secretary of State?

QUESTION 7: Do you favor amending the Constitution of Maine to remove a provision requiring a circulator of a citizen’s initiative or people’s veto petition to be a resident of Maine and a registered voter in Maine, requirements that have been ruled unconstitutional in federal court?

QUESTION 8: Do you favor amending the Constitution of Maine to remove a provision prohibiting a person under guardianship for reasons of mental illness from voting for Governor, Senators and Representatives, which the United States District Court for the District of Maine found violates the United States Constitution and federal law?

Voters are encouraged to use the Citizens’ Guide to educate themselves about each question before casting a ballot. Voters can cast their ballot at the polls on Election Day, Nov. 7, 2023 or they can request absentee ballots from their municipal clerk or online via the Secretary of State’s website at www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl.

Segment 3:  Ray plays Micheal Jackson’s Man in the Mirror and talks about the children that have died in Maine. He talks about the Walk a Mile in their Shoes foundation and Bill Diamond’s hard work on this issue for over 20 years. Gunny Mike Hall joins Ray talk about current events. Ray talks about the race for the US Speaker of the House.

Segment 5:  Sophia Pride, Vern Dukes, and Maine Rep. Josh Morris (R.-Turner) join Ray and Dee Dee. Ray plays a clip from Gov. Sarah Hucklebee Sanders. This brings about a discussion about Americans not supporting Israel, Representative Rashida Tlaib’s stance, and more.

Segment 6:

Segment 7:  Ray plays the Dennis Prager’s “Middle East Problem” again. They continue to discuss people and the church’s role.

Segment 8:  This is a short segment.

Segments 9-10:  Ray talks about a text from James Orr that is running for School Board about Maine’s school standing in America. He asks Josh if more money will help the situation. They talk about a variety of things that affects schools, Title IX, free society, and more.

Segment 11:  This segment starts off with Ray playing Taylor Swift. They discuss Taylor’s affect on America’s youth and football, LeBron James, traveling in basketball, and more.

Segment 12:  The panel talk about baby fever and Vern shares some of his thoughts.

Segments 13-14:  Ray reads a text. Vern thanks Ray and Dee Dee for the opportunity to meet Travis Mills and for the fundraising for The Travis Mills Foundation, The TMF work to help veterans, government’s lack of help and benefits, the long history of mistreating soldiers.

Segments 15-16:  Ray and Josh talk about government shutdown, working together, compromise, and more. They take calls.

Segment 3:  Ray and Dee Dee discuss the call to protest. Gunny Mike calls in and explains what is happening in the Gaza strip and Israel, the process of going “door to door” and why they do it, how dangerous it is to clear an area.

Segments 5-6:  Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) joins Ray.

Segments 7-8:  Ray plays a live press conference and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin speaks. Dr. Demi Kouzounas joins Ray and they talk about how this time in period will be remembered.

Segments 9-12:  Ray starts with Dennis Prager’s “The Middle East Problem“, and they discuss Israel and their defense, the other countries, Afghanistan, Ray talks about the call for the “Day of jihad”. They discuss hatred, how other countries treat foreigners, religions, and more. They take a call.



Segment 13:  Ray congratulates his daughter and son-in-law on their 5th anniversary and shares their wedding, they talk about their families, and then take a call.

Segments 15-16:  Ray, Dee Dee, and Demi take calls.
