Part 1: Auburn Police Chief Phillip Crowell, Jr. joins Ray and Joe to discuss the drug problem in Maine and our country. The Chief says that the starting point is marijuana and how it is just the beginning of the addiction. They also touch on the drugs coming into the country by people buying the online and not knowing exactly is in these drugs. Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland joins us and gives us a brief update on the Government shutdown extension and what is going on in Washington.
Part 2: The discussion turns to marijuana and how they are taking the drugs out of marijuana so people can’t get high from it and how it will be used.
Part 3: Ray, Joe and the Chief talk about the economic demographics. Chief Crowell says that if they are in the residence because of another call, it could turn into a drug call because of something they find. Joe talks about over prescribing of opiates and how that lead to addictions. Hospitals are rated partly on pain management.
Part 4: Joe says that most of the oxy is coming in from other countries. A listener’s has a question for the Chief and he answers it with a several point answer.

Ray and Joe talk about the National Deficit and how lawmakers don’t seem to be concerned about how how large it is now. Another Government Shutdown is looming. They are more concerned with DACA and not our vets or Americans were born here.

Ray and Joe are on a roll….they have touched on a lot of stuff. Most of the discussion revolved around government budget, regulations and restrictions on insurance and benefits. Then, they head to immigration. Holy cow…can’t keep up.
