Lisa Bird of Special Olympics Maine joins us to recap the Lobster Dip 2018, Maine’s “ORIGINAL” Dip. Peter McFarland joined the fun this year. The Special Olympics have 75 events a year, this is not including training the coach or athlete. Their Unified Sports Program teams are made up of an approximately equal number of athletes (people with intellectual disabilities) and Unified Partners (people without intellectual disabilities). This weekend they are holding their 2018 Winter Games held at Sugarloaf.
