The Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling joins us by phone and in studio are David Jones, Bill Diamond and Ray to talk about Portland’s homeless. Now with the weather turning extremely cold, what are the capacities of the shelters. What is the protocols of getting people who don’t necessarily want to accept help, but will freeze outside with out going inside the shelters. Ethan says that there are people from surrounding areas using Portland’s facilities because the surrounding communities don’t have any shelters. Ray says there are a lot of kids that don’t have a place to stay and Bill agrees because Windham has a large high school population that is homeless. People don’t see these people because they are busy with their own lives.

Ray and the room talk about weight and pie. Ray is in denial of how much ate. It is his addiction. Then the discussion goes to family and games. Our family played a game called Things….it was a lot of fun, Bill’s family go-to game is C-L-R.
