Joining Ray and David this morning is Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling. There is a power struggle in Portland. The City Council vetoed the whole full slate of appointments. Council members wouldn’t even allow the Mayor to speak on why this wasn’t even legal. The power struggle is still going on, he says that the council is under-minding the office of the Mayor, again and overstepping their authority.
Part 1: Representative Martin Grohman join David Jones and Ray in studio. They discuss the new National Tax Plan that was just passed and what it means to the us. Then they start talking about new Health Care Plan. Martin supports ObamaCare and is interested to see what the new individual mandates will be in the new plan. Gov. LePage talked about but never imposed the end of individual tax returns.
Ray reads headlines. Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling appoints himself head of the city’s budget committee appointments and the council voted him down. Then Ray goes off on the Behind Closed Doors testimony of the former FBI Director James Comey.
Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland and Ray discuss the Tax Reform Vote that happened in Washington. Yesterday, the House voted 227 to 203 to pass the bill, with 12 Republicans voting against it and no Democrats voting for it.
