Voter fraud? Ray doesn’t think so Roy Moore. Much like Hillary Clinton, he needs to accept defeat and move on. Roy Moore was his own worst enemy and never was convincing that he didn’t do what he was accused of doing.
12-28-17 Baby, It’s Cold Out There…
Ray tells us the obvious…it is cold outside. Teases me about being cold. He shifts to the Marijuana Bill. Medicaid Expansion was passed and now that causes a big hole in the budget and the legislature has to deal with it. Ranked Choice Voting is also something that they fixed, but now Maine People’s Alliance is out collecting signatures. The budget has grown really big under LePage and Fredette.
12-27-17 Today’s Culture
The boys discuss how it seems that no matter what is said or written, there is always a Negative Nelly to quash any good feeling you might have. Cell phones have taken the place of face to face conversations and how that has corrupted the youth.
12-27-17 Ethan Strimling
The Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling joins us by phone and in studio are David Jones, Bill Diamond and Ray to talk about Portland’s homeless. Now with the weather turning extremely cold, what are the capacities of the shelters. What is the protocols of getting people who don’t necessarily want to accept help, but will freeze outside with out going inside the shelters. Ethan says that there are people from surrounding areas using Portland’s facilities because the surrounding communities don’t have any shelters. Ray says there are a lot of kids that don’t have a place to stay and Bill agrees because Windham has a large high school population that is homeless. People don’t see these people because they are busy with their own lives.
