Ray and Debi start by talking about the Tax Plan that was passed and Nancy Pelosci’s reaction. Powers gives an an update on the sad story of the Dec. 18 Amtrak train accident. The National Transportation Safety Board announced Monday night that the Amtrak train was going 80 mph in a 30 mph zone when it derailed along a curve, causing railcars to fall onto the highway and smash into vehicles below. A total of 13 train cars jumped the tracks.

The discussion turns to the Maine Budget and Supplemental budgets.
Part 6: Christmas is discussed. Some of the panel is not so into Christmas because it has become so commercialized. Ray is stunned by some of their reactions. Rich gives the true meaning of Christmas as he quotes the story from the Bible.
Part 7: Joy of Christmas is in your heart, not the commercial part of it. Rich talks about his son and daughter-in-law being home for the first time for Christmas.
Part 8: Ray plays the Kenny Rogers/Wynonna Judd song “Mary Did You Know” and then they talk about whether or not Mary knew what she was getting into when she accepted the Lord’s gift. Joseph stood by her, even though he hadn’t touched her and she was with Child. Mary was around 14 years old.
