Portland Maine Mayor Ethan Strimling is calling in this morning to boast the Bulldogs win over Windham. Bill Diamond gives Ethan a hard time about the Tuesday misspelling on the parking signs and David Jones gives him grief over the Portland’s Referendums Question 1 was about rent control and Question 2 was allowing neighbors to veto development.

Part 1: Meris Bickford of the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals(MSSPA), located at 279 River Road in Windham, ME, provides refuge, rehabilitation, and placement of seized equines; support the placement of surrendered horses, and educate the public. 100% of every dollar goes back to the animals that they rescue. Where do the horses go after they have been rehabilitated? They are having a Christmas Open House for the Horses on Sunday December 3 from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Part 2: Their biggest fundraiser is the Buy-a-Bale event. It is an easy and one bale will feed a horse for a day. So please keep an eye out for that event. Meris describes the adoption process.

Representative Marty Grohman stopped by the studio and joined Sen. Bill Diamond and David Jones in discussions about whats going on in Augusta. He has recently un-enrolled from the Democrat Party and became an independent in a dominantly Democrat district. They discuss Ranked Choice Voting and Medicaid Expansion and other things as well.
