Ray starts the segment with all of the Gubernatorial candidates that are running. Ray takes a call from a new listener and he brings up the tax relief and tax breaks that Ray was talking about in a previous segment and questioned him. Ray emphasized that he was quoting Reagan’s numbers. They also talk about Susan Collins promise of only “two terms”.
11-17-17 Caller
Ray had a caller this morning to talk about how society has lowered its standards and that is why we have the issues that we are having today. Ray agrees with him and then talks about how music, movies and video games have desensitized us from what is happening in today’s society.
11-17-17 Tax Cuts
Ray is still on a roll….he is back on to Medicaid Expansion and the effects it will have in the long run. Catholic Charities, Maine Equal Justice Partners and Maine People’s Alliance all want your money and if you don’t give it to them, you are a horrible and non-caring individual. This is the link that Ray used for his numbers for the Gross Domestic Product.
11-17-17 Al Franken Accusations
Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland brings the latest on Sen. Al Franken accusations. She and Ray talk about the “me too” movement. Ray acknowledges that any woman that has this experience doesn’t ever get over it and Rachel has had a “me too” experience and believes that women can go on and live productive lives, she says that there are things that trigger those memories, but she has to continue her life. Sad situation that men and women have to be so “careful” as to not offend.
