Segments 1-2: Ray Richardson shares his thoughts on the voting and theatrics of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill as it is up for the House to pass it.
Segments 3-4: Bob Witkowski (Where Y’at Magazine) joins Ray and they take a walk down history lane back to the Revolution and how it began, the key people involved and more.
Segments 5-8: Steve Abbott (US Sen. Susan Collins’ Chief of Staff) join Ray and they discuss the Big Beautiful Bill and how it will affect the rural hospitals which is why Sen. Collins couldn’t support it. She is one of the hardest working Senators and always puts Maine first when she places her vote. They discuss the correct order to lead to a vote and that they have gotten away from the way they used to do it and it worked.
Segments 9-10: Ray welcomes the Common Sense For Maine group: Dominic Pugliares (Dunegrass), Elias Thomas (EXIT Key Real Estate), Tom Bill, and Dov Sacks (Independence Law Maine and New Hampshire). Elias shares some of his experiences with Rotary and the trips to administer Polio vaccines and other community service that he has done. Steve and Ray talk about the court system and Judges.
Segments 11-12: Ray reintroduces the gang and Mark Andrews (Automotive Everything and Common Sense for Maine) joins the fun. They talk about Sen. Grassley, and get back to Dov and Elias’ shares his family’s long history in the Portland area. Ray reads the latest Jobs Report and he asks Steve his opinion of Jerome Powell (Chair of the Federal Reserve of the United States).
Segments 13-14: Steve and Mark head out and Elias talks about the city of Portland and why/how he got involved with Common Sense For Maine. The huge contrast in Portland from the 1980’s to 2025 and how sad it is that the liberal left has run people with long roots out and the homeless and the parks are now drug playgrounds.
Segments 15-16: They talk about Frederick Douglass, New York City and the Socialist candidate for Mayor, then the Maine Education system and the lack of freedom of students to express their own views and thoughts.

Segment 1: Ray Richardson reads the weather and shares today’s line-up and wishes his twin grandchildren a happy 5th birthday, the passing of the Big Beautiful Bill and who will hold the people that don’t show up to work to vote on the Bill, yet they will get re-elected. The money that is spent in government and it if isn’t spent the cry of “people will die” if they don’t get to spend it. The medicare system and the illegal immigrants that are in the system

Segment 1: Ray talks about the Big Beautiful Bill, the fear mongering of all of the groups that have their hands out for their programs, the Provider Tax, the proper role of government, the profit of profiteers, non-governmental organizations (NGO), the importance of the election in 2026, and more
Segment 2: Ray reads a quote from Becky Pringle, President, National Education Association (the nation’s largest labor union) about the opt-out program for LGBT books.
Segment 3: Ray plays a clip of a group of famous voices recite the United States Declaration of Independence. Ray talks about the people from 240 years ago and what was at stake for them and shares how he feels the Founders would view our government and the apathy of the people and voters.
Segment 4: Ray plays God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, Home Free and Service Members and reads the news of the proposed Chick-fil-a in Lewiston/Auburn area.
Segments 5-6: Ray welcomes David Jones (FO Bailey Real Estate) and Dr. Peter Earle of AIER (American Institute for Economic Research) and they discuss Peter’s trip to Washington and the content of his meetings, Ron Paul and that he will be turning 90, the Big Beautiful Bill and the affect it will have on the economy, what will happen to the Bill in the Senate, interest rates, Jerome Powell and they speculate on who could be the next Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, China, monetary policy, and the State of Maine heeding the economic warning.
Segment 7: Ray and David welcome Matt Jacobson (Retired Navy, Director Sales & Marketing for Summit Natural Gas of Maine) as they talk about baseball and hockey, Maine sports, sports injuries and medicine, knee replacements, and more. They get into Maine Politics and LD 556 (SP 218) “An Act to Preserve Heating and Energy Choice by Prohibiting a Municipality from Prohibiting a Particular Energy System or Energy Distributor” passing thanks to our audience, and more.
Segment 8: Ray shares some of the upcoming guests and the Census and the history and the dishonest practice that is happening now.
Segment 9: Grover Norquist (President Americans for Tax Reform) joins Ray as they discuss the Big Beautiful Bill and how it got passed.
Segment 10: The boys start with the conversation with Grover Norquist.
Segments 11-12: Ray and the boys talk about sports and kids playing sports. The birthright citizen discussion and the legal immigration process.
Segments 13-14: Ray and Matt discuss the man-made crisis that our government is inflicting on the citizens, the cycle of the Legislature not working together to pass Bills instead of alienating the minority party, money spent on elections, the money needed to run for office, and more.
