Fox News Radio’s Simon Owen bring us the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize winner. The Norwegian Nobel Committee decided to award it to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The organization is receiving the award for its work to draw attention to the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any use of nuclear weapons and for its ground-breaking efforts to achieve a treaty-based prohibition of such weapons.

Part 1: Segment started with Ray and Peter discussing Former first lady Michelle Obama says many people don’t trust politics because the Republican Party is “all white, all men” … then Dave Brackett called in to say that his daughter Natalie tells him that the college she attends in California sends her emails about “this rally and that rally” that she should be attending. She doesn’t want to get them and Dave told her to unsubscribe to the list and she said that she can’t because it also sends emails with information that she has to know.
Part 2: Ray talking about good parents that raise kids with good work ethics. Tragedy can’t always be stopped, it is how we handle it. This isn’t perfect country, but it is the best one there is in this world.
