Segment 1-2: Ray Richardson starts this Labor Day Show with The Rock Church‘s sermon and the Maine economy and somehow ties them together.
Segment 3: Ray responds to a text from Steve DiMillo about the last segment. He takes a call from Bruce about hydrogen fuel.
Segment 4: Larry calls in and then Ray talks about some of the regulars who might show up on this holiday show.
Segment 5: Ray talks about Maine’s workforce, our children’s education and preparing them for life. He reads an article about the US Education System. He points out that Oregon has lowered the standards for just the minority children to ensure that they pass their classes and that it is happening in Maine. The closing of hospitals because of the lack in Medicare reimburses.
Segment 6: Vernon Dukes joins Ray and they talk about Ms. Jane (Vern’s “sister”) that Ray met at church. They get into the slippery slope of the trans fight and that it started with same-sex marriage.
Segments 7-8: Ray and Vern discuss the Maine Way of Life, the people that have moved to Maine and gotten into politics to change the Maine way of life. The mills that have closed in Maine, lumber going to Canada, America is now dependent on other countries for most of our products including China for our medicines and technology. They go down the history of how families have changed since the ’60s, the trade agreements over the years, Mark Reilly, and Retired Col. Ron Russell (Candidate for Maine CD 1, former Army Ranger and Special Forces Green Beret) join the boys. Mark and Vern talk about cars and Ron Russell talks about trying out for basketball in his small hometown and that it was basically teaching that you need to earn what you receive. Somehow the discussion turns to dive bars. They take a call from Al who talks about how he loved the dive bar, but now he changes the subject to the marijuana industries, the US Open game delay because of pot smell in the stadium, and more.
Segments 9-12: The boys talked about a lot of different subjects.
Segments 13-14: The boys talk about politics starting with the angry tones from the Democrats, the Maine Senator’s race between Collins and Jackson, Chellie Pingree, and more. They move on to some of the crazy practices that the Maine’s Democratic lead legislature has not passed, fiscal responsibility, and more.
Segments 15-16: The conversation continues about our education system and the loss of critical thinking and inquisitive questioning. They take calls.

Segment 1: Ray Richardson starts with the Lindsay Clancy case, then gets into the media’s coverage and how is it decided what will be the next big story. He changes the direction to politics and how the Maine Legislature works and the power that Troy Jackson has wielded since becoming Senate President, and more.
Segment 2: Ray talks about the Republican candidate for the Missouri state House, Thomas Ross has been charged with stashing narcotics among the personal property of his Republican rival.
Segments 3-4: Ray takes calls.
Segments 5-6: Shawn Moody (Moody’s Collision) and Ray start with the new grandbaby and Mike Shepherd (Political Editor for the Bangor Daily News) joins the conversation as getting ready for school, they turn to political ad buys and some of the predictions on different races. They get into AI, government agencies, the lack of cooperation between agencies, ICE, local law enforcement, politicization of governmental agencies, and more.
Segments 7-8: Jon Fetherston (The Maine Wire, Sponsored by Jeff Preble Concrete) joins and so does Maine Rep. Matt McIntyre (R. Lowell ME) who shares his opinion on the energy problems that we are having and why, Maine Bill LD 1347, Maine’s energy costs and the push for solar power. Matt explains how energy costs affect everything that we do from groceries to gas.
Segments 9-10: Ray and Jon discuss the new radical Democrats, Maine Sen. Pres. Troy Jackson’s role in Maine’s higher taxes. Corenna Quirk (Q-Point Podcast found on all platforms) joins and they talk about deer and Maine’s nature and wildlife, Shawn Moody, and more. Corenna shares what this week’s Q-Point topics and guests will be and Ray plays a clip on the housing interview. Jon shares an endorsement of Quirk Chevrolet and their staff. They will be filling in on VOM on Thursday and Friday.
Segments 11-12: Kenny Cianchette (Candidate For Maine Senate for District 26 and owner of Erik’s Church) join Ray and Jon as they discuss the Maine DHHS system, Maine Legislature Leadership and the boys goes step by step on some of the horrific steps that the DHHS system has done to “protect” our most innocent lives. Governor Mills award, Kenny mentions that the only time they get involved is when a parent takes their child to church. The parental consent for everything but what happens in school, no phones in schools, transitioning kids without parental consent, Troy Jackson’s Town Halls and that they are only for those selected, Troy’s change from a Conservative Republican to a Liberal Democrat since he has been serving in Augusta.
Segment 13-14: Ray and Kenny continue to talk about the lack of accountability in the Maine Government from top to bottom.
Segments 15-16: Kenny and Ray continue to discuss candidates including Troy Jackson, Susan Collins, and more. They take calls.
