There are no posts for the week of June 15-19 due to Ray’s Father passing.
Part 1: Ray thanks David Jones, Shawn Moody, Dr. John Herzog, Bob Witkowski and Jeff Mannix for holding down the fort while we laid his father to rest. Ray also talks about his dad, Raymond William Richardson, Sr. and the effect he had on his life.
[Audio not available] Part 2: Ray thanks the Florence South Carolina Marriott Manager David for all of his help and his spotless hotel. He also talks about the Trump rally in Tulsa and addresses the removal of statues of Presidents.
Part 3: Ray and Jeff take a call from Arthur and Linda Langley welcoming Ray back and they thank Jeff for stepping in to help out. They talk about the importance of conversation.
Part 4: Ray talks about LegalShield and their services. He then dives into DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).
Part 5: Ray takes a call from Mike and they talk about the Trump train and how fanatic people are supporting the President.
Part 6: Ray talks about Governor Mills and the kind note she sent on his father’s passing, he then talks about the lawsuit and the class action suit that his group has in the courts. He talks about the small businesses in Maine.
Part 7: Ray talks about the Trump Rally and the his supporters. Ray talks about his friend John Richardson that passed away and their relationship.
Part 8: Ray talks about his relationship with his dad. He welcomes Paris Dennard, the Republican National Committee’s senior communications advisor of black media affairs. Ray asks him to give a brief rundown of his resume. They talk about the dedication of the people that attend a Trump rally.
Part 9: Ray talks a little bit more about the conversations at the gathering after his dad’s funeral. He also talks about the defacing of monuments and statues and the Confederate Flag. He talks about the value of history and we are doomed to repeat if it isn’t taught. He takes a call about the statues. They also talk about Aunt Jemima and her legacy.
Part 10: Ray and Jeff discuss his first day back and quarantining and washing your hands.
Part 1: Ray Richardson and Joe Bruno are in the house. Joe feels bad what is happening Seattle. He tells Ray all of the “welcoming” signs along the turnpike. The boys are frustrated with the direction and lack of leadership that Maine has right now. Joe points out that Republicans are compliant if they aren’t speaking out and they have been quiet. Ray reads a text from the Dirigo Partners Text Line that says he is sounding like he is mad at his audience. Ray says that he is because they didn’t get out to vote.
Part 2: They talk about the conversation that Ray had with Vern on yesterday’s show. They poke fun of the notion that white people can’t have black people as friends and every white person is a racist. They talk about White Guilt.
Part 3: Joe brings up Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s running mate. Ray introduces Dr. John Herzog and explains what was going on during the break. They discuss that he is an Osteopathic doctor. They talk about how acidic Ray’s tone has been and how Mrs. Bruno doesn’t like it. Ray announces the location of the Republican Convention.
Part 4: Ray tells Joe that he doesn’t look as stressed as he did, Dr. John did a manipulation during the break to help him. They talk about Dr. John’s practice and his motto of “Do No Harm” and that includes surgery. The Doc gives an example of what he means by that statement. Ray reads a text that he got from one of his patients. Arthur Langley is a patient of Dr. John’s and he explains why Doctor John’s procedures are so much better than a long rehab from surgery. Ray reads text with a question about some of the costs and insurance and Dr. John gives answers. The boys talk about the cost of insurance. Joe uses his company as an example and Ray tells about his experiences in the private sector. Part 5: Ray reads the apology from Berklee College of Music for allowing cops to go to the bathroom. Joe asks Ray what is his fascination with SAD #51 and their School Board. Ray explains. The boys are really frustrated about the media and Joe points out how they referred to State Senate President Troy Jackson. They take a call from Mike about Veterans and shares a couple of stories. The boys talk about Juneteeth. Ray reads the letter that SAD #51 School Board sent out. Then, they talk about the narrative and how some of the people that have died aren’t the saints that they have been made out to be.
Part 6: The boys talk about how the SAD #51 needs to get “woke”. They talk about how they could fix their white guilt.
Part 7: Ray and the boys welcome Liz Harrington from the Republican National Party (RNC). They talk about the Republican Convention heading to Jacksonville Florida. She talks about the barricades that were thrown up by the Democratic Governor of North Carolina and Mayor of Charlotte. They talk about the differences between the Republican and Democratic Governors and how they are running their state.
Part 8: The boys talk about the lack of employees in Maine because of the PPP. Dr. John says that that won’t change until July. Then they talk about Sen. Heather Sanborn and her changing her “bar” into a restaurant so that she could open.
Part 9: Ray and the boys welcome David Flanagan, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Central Maine Power. He says that CMP have been addressing some of their customers’ complaints. He says that they have fine-tuned their new SmartCare system, and carefully tracked customer bills, and are confident enough to put their money where their mouth is and provide a $25 credit if a bill is late, or if the balance due is inaccurate. They talk about CMP’s tools that can help you spot irregularities in your bill and the great job that Linda Ball as Vice President of Customer Service has done. Part 10: They talk about all of the fun that everyone is missing out on because of Dr. Shah and Governor Mills. They talk about the precautions that we take as a normal routine for personal safety. Then they talk about all of the destruction that the protestors have caused including spray painting walls and taking down statues. There is a right way to achieve it and and wrong way. They take a call from Andy of Sanford and he shares a conversation he had with is son. They talk about the deaths and personal injuries to cops and nobody says anything about them. Ray talks about the number of protestors and the crickets heard from the Governor, but we can’t go to church. Dr. John thinks that it’s all just politics.
Part 1: Ray talks about the good ole’ days. He also talks about Seattle’s decision to defund the police and let Antifa rule. Ray talks diluting rules and laws. Ray jumps all over the place in this segment….he heads to the US Capitol’s Emancipation Hall, and the kneeling of Speaker Pelosi and others while wearing African kente cloth scarves.
Part 2: Ray and Bob Witkowski talk about cultural appropriations and Shakira. They also talk about Portland starting to open up and Bar Harbor says now is the time to visit.
Part 3: Ray plays the whole song There’s a Hole in the World by the Eagles. They talk about the crazy nature of our Legislative culture and the money that is made once you are elected, other than their salary. Did we elect Gov. Mills to save the planet or save the healthcare system, and Ray explains what he means by that question. He talks about the men that designed and crafted the Constitution, including Washington and why it was worded the way it was and how over time people have changed the true meaning of those words. Ray talks about pandering to whoever or whatever is the loudest squeaky wheel. Ray reads part of a newspaper article and comments on it while reading it to the audience.
Part 4: Ray reads Portland Press Herald headlines and gives a little commentary on each of them including topics about Sara Gideon, Portland School Board, George Floyd, Police Officers Personal Information, Sen. Tim Scott.
Part 5: Ray talks about Governor Mills extended Executive Order at the last minute. Ray welcomes Dave Ciullo to talk about the problem with the unemployment issues in Maine. He hosts the HR PowerHour on WLOB Radio at 10am on Saturdays. He also owns Career Management Associates. David brings up Payroll Payment Plan (PPP) that has been helping. Dave talks about the fraud and the many bad actors out there. He says that nothing saying that you can’t send someone back to unemployment even though you had re-hired them. Ray addresses the fiasco of the unemployment department and states that people haven’t been able to get their money because of the unorganized mess in Augusta. Dave urges people to be kind when calling the state, the workers are overworked are working hard. Dave says that there are places that are hiring workers. David reminds people that there is a mental health component to unemployment and doesn’t get talked about enough.
Part 6: Ray invites people to call into the Rowe Auto Group or text on the Dirigo Partners Text Line. State Representative Candidate Wayne Parry calls in to talk about the Payroll Payment Plan program and the new mandates that the Governor Mills has handed down on the really small businesses.
Part 7: Ray welcomes Dr. PaulLawrence, Under Secretary for Benefits at the Department of Veterans Affairs, to talk about the benefits that Veterans have earned. He will be holding a toll-free telephone town hall today (Thursday, June 11th, 4 pm ET) with Maine veterans to discuss fighting veteran suicide and VA’s remote services during the coronavirus outbreak. He will also inform veterans of new and existing benefits available to them. During the live call, veterans will be able to ask Dr. Lawrence questions. Part 8: Ray takes a call from his friend, Vernon Dukes. Vern tells Ray that he has lived in Maine for 29 years and explains what he has seen in that time.
Part 9: Ray and Vern continue their discussion. He says that there is more racism in white liberals than there in the conservatives. He talks about his feelings on Black Lives Matters, President Obama, and defunding the police. They both agree it’s all about the power grab. Vern questions our education system. What are we teaching our children and says that we need to rehaul the school system and need to hold them accountable. He says that we need to pay the police and the teachers. They have the most important jobs and you get what you pay for.
Part 10: Ray takes one last call and Tom stresses for people to call your representatives and Senators and make sure that they know how you feel.
