Part 1: Ray and Joe welcome the new Cumberland County DA. Both of Jonathan’s opponents have dropped out of the race. Jonathan Sahrbeck is in studio this morning talking about the challenge he will have filling Stephanie Anderson’s shoes. They talk about the “CSI effect” when prosecuting a case with a jury. He wants to focus on the opioid crisis. He praises the people that he works with and is proud to work with them and emphasizes that they are a team.
Part 2: Jonathan, Joe and Ray continue the discussion about the amount of votes that will need to be cast to cement his position. Jonathan also talk about how appreciative he is that she is willing to be around for any advice. He has the full support of the law enforcement family as well.
11-02-18 Shawn Moody
Part 1: Ray and Joe are joined by Shawn Moody. Joe is the treasurer for his Gubernatorial campaign. Shawn thanks Joe for all of his hard work raising money. He also stresses how important it is to get the voters out and vote on Tuesday!!! Shawn describes his natural progression to become a Republican and what he has learned on the campaign trail.
Part 2: Ray tells Shawn about the superstition he has, that whoever is running for office, has a great chance of winning. They head to the job discussion and capitalism. The boys talk about tax cuts.
Part 3: The boys welcome a call from current Governor Paul LePage and they talk about how well the economy is progressing. They talk about how to continue that great trend especially with our small businesses. Topics include education consolidation, non-payment to businesses from state, the reform of the state schools (transferable credits from community colleges to state college). Ray asks Gov. LePage about the kids being lifted out of poverty since he has been in office and it isn’t being reported anywhere. Joe talks about the great work that the Governor and First Lady has done for their work with Maine’s Veterans. Shawn thanks the Governor for running the state as a business. Joe also thanks him, especially for appointing him as Chairman of the Pharmacy Board. Ray goes back to the amount of small businesses that have opened in the last four years. LePage reiterates that Maine doesn’t need to have an income tax.

Part 1: Joe Bruno joins Ray in studio this rainy morning. They start off talking about the WGME13 Gubernatorial Debate held last night with Janet Mills (D), Terry Hayes (I) and Shawn Moody (R). Fox & Friends’ Brian Kilmeade calls in to discuss the political elections, the media biased and last but not least his new book, “Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans: The Battle that Shaped America’s Destiny. Part 1: Ray and Bob talk about the movie Queen that is coming out on Friday.
Part 2: United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar joins Ray to discuss President Trump’s plan to saving seniors money on prescriptions. Ray continues to talk about how important it is to have the “gag clause” broadened. Ray goes back to the polls that have been recently released in which they didn’t even represent 2 of the candidates.
Part 3: Ray talks about Congressional Candidate Mark Holbrook. Ray has been accused of “trashing” Mark, Ray explains why he isn’t voting for Mark. Just because he is supporting Marty Grohman, doesn’t mean that he is against Mark. Ray takes a call that was really impressed with the interview with Terry Hayes from earlier this morning. He also asked about the Maine Governor Debate on WGME TV. It is from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m tonight, November 1, 2018.
Part 4: News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan joins Ray. He asks Pat about one of the controversial question from social media that was asked during one of News Center’s debates. They continue the discussion about the Congressional debate between Angus King and Eric Brakey.
Part 5: Ray asks Pat if he does predictions. Pat says that he is looking forward to having Ray on Tuesday night while covering the election.
