Ray and Debi is joined by Lisa Bird of Special Olympics. She is here to promote the Flame of Hope. 800 law enforcement personnel will be carrying the Special Olympics torch across the state to start the 2018 Summer Games. Lisa explains that it is mostly a volunteer organization, there are only four paid staff members. Lisa explains some of the fun/crazy life she has had so far. Lisa and Ray talk about how life experiences have shaped her to who she is today. Ray and Lisa talk about the history of Special Olympics and her family connection to the organization.

Part 1: Garrett Mason joins Ray and Debi in studio to touch base before the primary on June 12th. Ray and Garrett talk about what make some people get into politics. Garrett describes what he’s learned from the campaign trail. Garrett is asked about the Maine’s infrastructure and how do we fix it. They also talk about the tourists that visit Maine.
Part 2: Ray asks Garrett about what he wants people to know the most about him. Garrett answers.
Part 3: Ray and Garrett talk about how nobody will know what the outcome will be for probably days with ranked choice voting. As a candidate, what do you do? Do you campaign or not? Garrett brings up whether or not the Governor certifies the election. Garrett takes a question from a caller about property taxes. Garrett answers with a great answer.

There has been a lot of outside Maine money to promote RCV and nothing to on the other side. Ray reads something from Maureen Dowd, a New York Times Op-Ed columnist.

Part 3: Ray and Debi discuss the comments from Former President Clinton about how if a democrat were being investigated he would be impeached.
