The invalid signatures should have been caught at the town level. It should have never gotten this far.
Part 2: Joe goes on to state that just because you get a $5.00 check, doesn’t mean that person will vote for you. It could be that they just wanted to make sure you were able to get on the ballot so people could make a choice.
