Part 2: Ray welcomes Dan Cashman of The Nite Show with Danny Cashman back. He will be taping his show again in Westbrook at the Westbrook Performing Art Center tonight, Friday April 13 at 6pm. He explains why he brings his show on the road. Fun to see what happens on the breaks. Joe asks Dan what he is will be taking to Gov. Baldacci about. Two shows are going to be filmed. The first show’s highlights is Former Gov. Baldacci, comedian and Singer Paula Cole. They will have some free give-aways as well. Tickets are free. Ray plays the Paul Harvey speech “If I Were The Devil”. He said it 50 years ago and how prophetic he was. Ray asks how can we not step back and take a look at our society and where it is and where it is going. Joe asks when did education become what you “feel” vs what you “learn”. Ray talks about the banning of “To Kill A Mockingbird” and Joe says that they want to hide our history instead of teaching so that we can learn from it. Ray swings it to how history will keep our constitution safe. They take a call about the “goodness” of our country and they discuss the fall of Rome. Ray also talks about Alexis de Tocqueville, French diplomat, political scientist, and historian.

Ray asks Joe his opinion on the signature issue in the Senate primary race between Eric Brakey and Max Linn. They also talk a little about the process of the way the town clerks are suppose to be notified.

Ray takes a call who asks if he had ever heard Paul Harvey’s speech “If I Were The Devil”. Ray tells him that he had and actually played it a few weeks ago. Trump becomes the subject and why the boys support Trump, but some of the issues they have with him. Somehow we end up on the infrastructure of our country and the trickle down to cities.
