Part 1: Jamie Py of Maine Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) joins us in studio. Since 1954, MEMA has been dedicated to working on behalf of energy marketers and their consumers to educate and lead our state forward. We advocate for our members in Augusta and in the news, informing legislators and the public with the facts about Maine’s energy industry. He is here to re-enforce the the processes and let us know that the oil dealers are working as hard as they can to get the oil deliveries to people.
Part 2: We are talking to Jamie Py about the weather and school closing. Ray asks him when they will pull the drivers off of the road for their safety. Jamie says that he is more worried about the power going out. He also defines the difference in K-1, Propane and other heating elements.

Part 1: Cultural appropriation, often framed as cultural misappropriation, is a concept in sociology dealing with the adoption of the elements of a minority culture by members of the dominant culture. Sam Witkowski, Ray and Bob Witkowski discuss this stupid issue that is becoming more and more prevalent.
Part 2: Ray and Sam continue the discussion on cultural divisions and appropriation vs appreciation.

Ray and Bob talk about the cold and the oil delivery people. They are working as hard as they can and need to be thanked for all that they are doing to get people oil that needs it. They talk about how cold it is and the long term cold snap we are having right now. Bob also brings up the elderly and checking up on them. We all need to work together and look out for one another.
