Part 1:  Ray talks about the differences between the way the Republican and Democratic philosophy is viewed and presented. He points out specifics examples.
Part 2:  Ray takes a call about taxpayer funded or company funded sports arenas. He and Ray debate. Ray agrees with part of his argument but disagrees with another part.
Part 3:  Ray talks about voting and how it works. He talks about Russia being able to change your vote and people would be outraged, but nobody seems to mind that the Maine Legislature will be changing your vote with this cockamamie idea of Electoral Voting Compact. Don’t sit idly by and let it happen, CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!! Ray takes a call from Gordon Draper wanting to know who is funding this idea.



 

03-04-19 Nice Little Bow

Part 1:  Ray had a long Democratic string this morning and he followed it all the way around the block and then tied it in a bow. He started with the 2019 CPAC and Pres. Trump’s speech, which lead to Hillary Clinton’s comments. He talks about the popular vote and quickly hits the Electoral Vote Compact and Augusta, then Mueller Investigation and emails and Russia collusion. He takes a call and they talk about the caller’s frustration with our elected folks. Ray ties the sting into a really nice bow.
Part 2:  Ray takes a call from Larry who had a chance to visit the Westbrook Performing Arts Center in person. He gives kudos to Westbrook for such a nice facility.
Part 3:  Ray touches on the Electoral Compact and is it Constitutional. He also mentioned that the elected folks in Augusta don’t really care what you think or would like, because they are willing to give away your voice.
Part 4:  Ray welcomes Radio Personality Mike Violette in studio and they talk about the snow and weather, then touch on the Caribou High School Basketball Game and how important sports play in their lives, which leads to football/soccer. They take a call to discuss Maine politics.
Part 5:  They talk about Augusta and the crazy ideas they have.

Part 1:  Ray talks about the $8 Million budget and what are some of the frivolous spending they have in store for us. He also takes a call from Larry. Larry talks about the phone call he received from his State Rep. Lois Rickett, D-South Portland.
Part 2:  Ray doesn’t understand the obsession with gender. Ray reads a questionnaire for kids from the Falmouth School System.
Part 3:  Ray talks about how beautiful the sky was this morning. He takes a call from someone that also was in awe of the sky this morning and he also talks about the moon. They move on to the Electoral College and the proposed bill to join a compact to change the way our votes will be counted.
Part 4:  Call Gov. Mills’ office. Be respectful! Tell her to please not support the change to the Electoral College. Call the House Republicans, write a letter. Be respectful but let them know your position.

Part 1:  Ray and Shawn talk about Gorham School Resource Officer Wayne “Pooch” Drown, a 35-year veteran of the local force. They discuss his history and dedication to his community. He didn’t have a problem calling someone out when they did something wrong and had high expectations, but a lot of love in his heart. He understood the importance of personal interaction. This leads to Ray saying “Lead Where You Live.”
Part 2:  Really short segment…they boys touch on CMP corridor.
Part 3:  They boys take a call from Pete McVety of Stoves of Maine with a huge sale he has going on and Pete and Ray discuss the need for the sale. Ray and Shawn continues the CMP Corridor and the need for a real need for some strong negotiations to get the right deal for Maine. It is key that this deal is based on a recurring need.
Part 4:  They talk about the how to make the CMP pay for itself and how the Gov. was against it while running for office.
