Part 2: Ray talks about the horrible story of the California police officer killed in the line of duty. Officer Ronil Singh was killed by a man who the authorities say is in the country illegally.
Part 3: Ray takes a call from Larry about the border and how the elected folks aren’t keeping us safe.
Part 4: Ray welcomes Republican Party Chair Demi Kouzounas. They talk about their Christmas and family.
Part 5: Ray and Demi talk politics. They talk about Medicaid expansion and all of the things that Gov. Elect Mills would like to implement, but the question is how is she planning to pay for it all. They also talk about Gov. LePage’s pledge to come back and run for Governor again if the state goes back to the way it was before he came to office. Ray and Demi also talk about the drug problem in Maine. Big money in campaigns and big donors are discussed. The personal attacks on good people.
Part 6: Ray and Demi take a call to remind people that the third party is the one that is the most dangerous.
Part 7: Ray and Demi talk about Special Olympics and the upcoming Lobster Dip. They take a call about how special needs children are being aborted. Demi stresses that there is a disconnect in our country.
Part 8: Ray reads a story out of Iceland from CBS News in 2017 about special needs children. Ray warns about assisted suicide referendums coming to Maine and other states in our country.
Part 9: Ray and Demi welcome Lisa Bird from Special Olympics of Maine. Lisa Bird brings us the Lobster Dip 2019, Maine’s “ORIGINAL” Dip. This fundraiser is held in front of The Brunswick down on Old Orchard Beach. You can dip as an individual or as a team. This is an awesome way to support the Special Olympics. There is a huge buffet for the participants. They have forms online and really need your support. The Special Olympics have 75 events a year, this is not including training the coach or athlete. Their Unified Sports Program teams are made up of an approximately equal number of athletes (people with intellectual disabilities) and Unified Partners (people without intellectual disabilities). Part 10: Ray and Demi talk about the New Year and some of the great things ahead and to always look forward.
