09-21-18 Tim Wilson
Part 1: Ray talks about an email and he reads about Maine Women’s Lobby Executive Director Eliza Townsend. Ray is joined by Tim Wilson, Seeds of Peace, this morning. He has a unique perspective. Tim believes that we are dancing around our country following the path of South Africa and apartheid. Ray questions him so Tim explains his position.
Part 2: Ray starts off congratulating Tim on the Cleveland Brown’s win in football. Ray and Tim talk about the broad nature of Seeds of Peace and the work he is trying to do in schools. They start talking about the Education system in our country. They talk about how government is the only entity that has customers that can’t leave their service. He talks about people in government don’t want to hear what experts in different fields have to say before they make a decision on the laws they pass or don’t pass.
Part 3: Ray and Tim discuss the Augusta mentality. People will leave. Augusta needs to start asking the question: What do you need to stay in Maine?
09-21-18 Crazytown
Part 1: Ray has gone back to “crazytown”. He is joined by Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland and she doesn’t think this will go away for a long time. Some Democrats have even said that they will continue to unseat him after the mid-term election if he is confirmed. Ray takes a call from Larry and he is so upset about the way America is acting.
Part 2: Ray continues his thoughts on the United States Senate and how the elected Senators are behaving. Since when in our country does the accused testify before the accuser. That isn’t the way our judicial system works.
Part 3: Ray received a text stating that he was obsessed with this Kavanaugh situation. Ray explains why: It isn’t just about Kavanaugh. It is America and the accepted double standard of society.
09-20-18 Accusations
Part 1: Ray and Bob talk about the Kavanaugh accusations and Ray states that he doesn’t believe the allegations. He goes on to state that he wants everyone’s voice to be heard, but he has a hard time because every survivor he has met or talked to knows every detail of the attack, she has given them nothing to go on to even be able to investigate. Fox News Radio’s Jon Decker continue this discussion.
Part 2: Ray takes a call that states that the Democrats are being unfair to the accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. She is nothing but a pawn and they should have come out with this information when she interviewed Judge Kavanaugh in private at the beginning of the hearings.
Part 3: Larry calls in to ask Ray about the comments made by Sen. Hirono’s message to men: ‘Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing.’ Ray and Larry have quite the discussion. Ray talks about how Sen. Dianne Feinstein is in the fight of her political life. At 85 years old, her party is turning on her and he warns Sen Collins that the people she is kowtowing to will turn on her.
Part 4: Ray talks about the text messages he has been getting. He is not shining the light on the darkness of just Democrats, but also Republicans that are not doing the right thing. We need to dry out the swamp. He then heads to Zack Ringlestein who is a Maine Democratic Senate candidate. Zak Ringelstein has announced that he is now a democratic socialist and wants to Maine to have safe injection centers. Ray gives a startling analogy.
