For 40 years, Thomas has been a lead volunteer for Rotary International, first on projects at home in Maine, then organizing trips to immunize children in India against polio, and then building dams to give rural Indian villagers access to clean water. He has led more than 350 Rotarians from around the world on volunteer trips and has raised more than $350,000. Part 2: Ray promotes Elias Thomas coming in a little later. He talks about something that his great-niece said. Last but not least was Ray and Debi congratulating News Center Maine’s Pat Callaghan on winning an award.
Part 3: Ray reads an article in the Bangor Daily News and Mark Holbrook’s comments about Governor LePage’s health regarding the remarks that the Governor said about Marty Grohman, Mark’s opponent. Ray announces the WLOB’s Gubernatorial Debate at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center (Westbrook PAC) on October 3, 2018 starting at 7PM. All four candidates will be there. Part 4: Ray has gotten several text messages about how he doesn’t believe them. He calls out some of the Senators that have already decided that Kavanaugh is guilty even though they have yet to hear their testimony. The good Sen. from Hawaii is fundraising on the back of the good Judge. They take a call about the previous segment regarding Medicaid Expansion and Question 1.

Part 1: Ray and Debi continue the discussion on the Kavanaugh accusations. Over the weekend a new accusation has come to light. Yet another unverifiable accusation by someone at a college frat party. There is no evidence to back this incident yet, it is a he-said, she-said. Ray also brings up Susan Collins and her reaction to the new claim.
Part 2: Ray and Debi talk about Candidate Mark Holbrook and his comments about Governor LePage.
Part 3: Ray reminds everyone to call the Senators and tell them to vote Kavanaugh in as a Supreme Court Justice. A caller says that calling won’t do any good. Ray emphatically disagrees. He says that if we don’t call, it will be a landslide from the other side and she will take it as that is the way her constituents want her to vote.
