10-15-18 Trump & the Media

WLOB Radio...The Lobster Network

Part 1:  Ray plays a clip from last nights Red Sox Game and talks about New England Sports. He then plays another clip from 60 Minutes with Lesley Stahl’s interview with Pres. Trump talking about North Korea and Kim Jong-un. Ray gives an editorial and then plays more of the clip about the Trade Agreements. Ray talks about the clip.
Part 2:  Ray talks about the interest rate and national media.
Part 3:  Ray welcomes Gordon Draper in studio and takes a call about President Trump, China and the economy. Tariffs and the free market. Ray takes another call. This call is about Shawn Moody and what a great guy Shawn is.
Part 4:  Ray continues with a little bit of the Pres. Trump interview and is frustrated with the media’s coverage of the NATO agreements. Trump isn’t going to continue to let other countries get the best of the deal. The US needs to get the best deal.
Part 5:  Ray continues with the NATO and tariffs. The President takes a stand on taxes and actually stands up for the United States and the American people. He continues exposing the national media’s bias.
Part 6:  Ray continues with the interview. He throws some stats out about the economy. The President is asked about what he feels have been his mistakes while being President in the 60 Minutes interview. They talk about the immigration laws.

Part 1:  Ray and Debi talk about the immigration train that his heading toward the US. The mid-term elections are also discussed.
Part 2:  Ray talks about the story in the New York Times regarding Maine Gubernatorial Candidate Shawn Moody and the allegations against him.
Part 3:  Ray describes his Sunday and the beautiful drive through Maine.
Part 4:  Ray describes the exciting news that happened in the Richardson Family on Saturday! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Griffith.
Part 5:  Ray plays a clip from 60 Minutes with Lesley Stahl’s interview with Pres. Trump about the journalist and Saudi Arabia.

10-12-18 Focus on the Good

Part 1:  Ray starts off by taking a call about Christopher Columbus. Ray shows his frustration. America isn’t perfect, but it is “damn good”!
Part 2:  Ray says this is a call to vote! We need to stand up and be counted. We need to protect the Constitution. If someone doesn’t like it here in America, let them leave. What about all of the people and nations that America has helped.  Ray believes in lifting people up, not controlling them.
Part 3:  Ray takes another call from a previous caller about how Columbus was such a bad guy. Ray debates the caller.
Part 4:  Ray plays the Neil Diamond song, Coming to America. He quotes Tony Blair about how you can tell if a country is good.
Part 5:  Ray talks to Fox News Radio’s Tonya Powers. They talk about Kanye’s visit to Washington. Ray goes back to humanity’s imperfections.  Paul from Ormand Beach, FL calls in from Bar Harbor. Ray stresses that people need to focus on the good things in life.
Part 6:  Ray plays Pres. Reagan’s speech, “Tear Down That Wall”. He continues on the imperfect people doing great work. In summary, “If it bleeds, it leads, but if it’s good it actually should”.

Part 1:  Ray welcomes Peter Rich in studio. He is running for the Maine House for District 30 (Cape Elizabeth and part of South Portland). He would like to cement how much money is allocated for the school budgets so that school systems can plan better. He would like to our mills back to work and find a product that Maine can produce.
