Blazes Burgers and Parkside Ice Cream at 652 Main Street will be holding a fund raising night to support the Manning family tonight May 9th, where 10% of the profits from both businesses will be donated to the family. Linda Murray stays with us and puts on another hat. She is the Founder and Vice President of K9s on The Front Line. It is a Maine-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing certified, trained service dogs to military Veterans who are affected by PTSD and/or TBI, at no cost to our Veterans. She gives a overview of how she got involved. Linda also gives some examples of the things that we don’t think of that really affect someone that has been trained to fight and always watch their back.
