Part 1: NewsCenter Maine’s Pat Callaghan joins Ray by phone. Their first topic of discussion is the weather and Todd Gutner. Then turn to the election in Pennsylvania. The young Democrat candidate is more of the type of candidate people are more likely to vote for. Ray and Pat also discuss Sen. Susan Collins and her voting record and honor Washington showed her while she lays her father to rest.
Part 2: The boys talk about Ranked Choice Voting. Pat explains that there will be an education for the processes for the election personnel and media.

In studio this morning is Jim O’Reilly of Jim O’Reilly Photography. He describes some of his photos that he has taken. Joining us by phone is Heidi Feldman with Down Island Farms and Martha Vineyard Sea Salt. She describes how they cultivate the salt and process of collecting the water. Jim shows off his new product, it is a beautiful clock.

Part 1: Ray talks about Sen. Collins and the honor that Washington was giving her by not holding a recorded vote so that she could have the time to bury her father. Gubernatorial Candidate Mary Mayhew joins Ray and Debi in studio to discuss her platform. Mary was the Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services from 2011-2017. She left that appointment to run for Governor. She talks about the “team” and changing the culture of the state.
Part 2: Ray asks her about the government’s responsibilities in the kids that have been killed while under the care of DHS. Mary talks about the law and how do they effectively re-unite the families.
Part 3: Ray asks Mary about Ranked Choice Voting and how will that affect her campaign and if she elected. She is against growing government. She wants to bring jobs back to Maine. They talk about Medicaid Expansion. She says it will bankrupt our state and that memories run short in Augusta. Ray asks about her past before her time at DHS. What will happen to the state if a conservative doesn’t get into Augusta. They talk about the business climates. We blow off the break to talk about the drug issues. They also discuss the federal vs state law issue. Ray asks what her greatest strength that she would bring to the table if elected.
