Part 1: Ray and Debi play a funny clip of a Senate hearing where protestors interrupt the session and an Oklahoma Senator breaks out into an auction. They take a call from Fox News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland to continue the Washington Circus. Bob Witkowski is from Visit Portland and author of 100 Things to do in Portland Maine Before You Die. Bob announces that he has a 2nd edition of 100 Things to do in Portland Maine Before You Die coming out. He will be doing book signings, so look for it in a book shop near you.
Part 2: Ray and Bob talk about some of the beautiful drives in Maine. Pequawket Trail (Route 113) is one of Ray’s. They also talk about the possibility of a hurricane coming this way.
Part 3: Ray and Bob continue to discuss the New York Times’ op-ed piece. Ray and Bob are joined by Rand Paul. He is here for a fundraiser and campaign rally for US Senate candidate Eric Brakey on Friday at Patriot Insurance (Click Here for directions). Part 1: Ray talks about the Kavanaugh Hearing from yesterday. He has a lot of issues with the way it is being run. Sen. Kamala Harris of California and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey are just rediculous. Ray goes on to talk about the New York Times’ op-ed. He states that if the op-ed is correct, that means that the Times is protecting a shadow government. He was on a roll in this segment…
Part 2: Ray and Debi play a clip and have some commentary to explain the clip of Sen Harris’s questioning of Judge Kavanaugh.
Part 3: Kevin Fitzpatrick is up on the roof of Patriot Subaru in Saco to raise money and visibility for STRIVE programs which support over 950 tweens, teens and young adults throughout Maine with intellectual disabilities. He’s staying up there until he raises $40,000 and today he is a little above $15,000. He wants surpassed his goal. Thank you to all who help in his journey! Part 1: Ray, Debi and David welcomes Sen. Eric Brakey, running for US Senate, and Sen. Bill Diamond. Bill started with the some of the things that are being voted on in Augusta. Eric supported a bill that was sponsored by Bill and he publicly thanked him for the support to get the bill passed. They spend most of this segment talking about Maine’s DHS system.
Part 2: Eric is holding a Fundraiser with Sen. Rand Paul from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at 11 Ledge Road, Cumberland Foreside, ME. They also hit on Question 1. All four Gubernatorial candidates have publicly said they are against it. They talk about the Oct. 3 debate Ray will be holding at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center. They ask if Sen. King has agreed to a debate and Eric says that he did, but not until Sept. After the absentees have already been cast. The boys ask him what is King afraid of coming out?
Part 4: The boys talk about the national elections. What are the trends.
Part 5: Discussion is on candidates and their what they represent. Eric stresses what he will be trying to achieve if he is elected to the US Senate. Ray asks Bill how is Sen. King keeping his true record a secret. Bill says that Angus has worked hard to become a friend of the media. He also points out the mess that Sen. King left for Gov. Baldacci. Ray asks Eric what is the #1 thing he is hearing from people. He responds with Pres. Trump.
Part 6: The boys talk about Mandatory Reporters and the system, responsibility and what is the training involved.
