Part 1: Ray is full of good news this morning. He starts off with the story of a car that struck and injured several pedestrians and cyclists, then crashed into a security barrier just outside the Houses of Parliament. The driver has now been charged with terrorism. The he heads to Washington and Peter Strzok. The FBI has fired agent Peter Strzok, who helped lead the bureau’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He has now set up a Go-Fund me account to help defray his costs.
Part 2: Ray and Debi are joined by David Jones and they get into voting again. Ray reads a story about Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling’s push to allow non-citizens to vote in Portland.
Part 3: They talk about Halle Berry and Molly Hatchet. Pete McVety of McVety’s Hearth and Home joins the boys in studio and they end up talking about Jotul stoves.
08-13-18 Budget and Thanks
Part 1: Ray continues on the disrespect between the media and the President.
Part 2: Ray starts off with Tiger Woods performance in this last tournament. They he jumps to Augusta and the budget jumps. It doesn’t matter how much they take in, the government will spend it all. Ray points out a government grant about pineapples being sexually attracted to each other. Ray also address the deficit and all of the spending.
Part 3: Ray thanks all of our listeners and the people that watch us on the video stream. Ray briefly talks about the Eastpoint Church.
08-13-18 Ford Mustang
Ray is joined by Mark Rogowski, Regional Sales Manager for Ford and Jeff Hobart, Used Car Manager for Rowe Auto Group. They are celebrating the Mustang. Jeff gives a great description of why he loves the Mustang. The boys talk about the mystique of this iconic car. Jeff points out there are clubs and Mark states that it is the number one selling car. Mark talks about the horsepower from the first one off the assembly line to how the power has evolved. Made in the USA!
08-13-18 Good for the Goose
Part 1: Ray is discussing Elizabeth Warren’s speech on Aug. 3 at Dillard University, a historically black college where she stated “The American criminal justice system is racist … front to back.”. In a letter to Warren, Massachusetts Chief of Police Association President Steven Wojnar said, “Labeling the entire criminal justice profession as ‘racist’ spreads false and damaging information about our members”.
Part 2: Ray talks about the media’s coverage of about 30 people attended the “Unite the Right 2” rally in D.C. on Aug 12. He talks about the 5% of the people that are making waves, and then the rest of the people that are just going about their own business.
Part 3: Ray reads a news story about the media going to all write an editorial on the same day in response to their opinion of the treatment of the “Free Press” from the President. Somehow he ended up with Pres. Obama and Pres. Jimmy Carter.
Part 4: Ray reads a question from Bob in K’bunk. Ray answers the question about Suffolk Poll regarding Shawn Moody and Janet Mills.
